    I completely forgot to mention the alto ie when looking for stickers.
    An ie sticker means single cam turbo and guaranteed rear drum brakes..
    Available in both CR22S and CS22S
    I also didn't mention the lepo, slide slim, F limited or the Works R.. There may have been even more.....

    Very interesting! I just bought a CR22S from Japan, and I will absolutely put off buying wheels until it lands in the U.K. 😂

    This is great! I have a CP21S with horizontal door handles. My research led me to beleieve that all CP21S's should have vertical door handles so thanks for the correction.
    Now only if I could find that body kit on the lime green car in the beginnning of the video.

    That’s one of the funniest videos I’ve seen in a LONG time! I want one. I don’t know which one. That doesn’t seem to matter as much as I thought it did.

    Amazingly dense amount of info! Any chance we could get a similar breakdown for the late-90s H chassis? Asking for a friend 😉

    • @GarageKei
      @GarageKei  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I kinda did... One of my other videos is focused on h-chassis cars at the same event but there are so many of them and the grades are kinda endless.
      Basically HA is FF. HB is AWD. The numbers... Well ha11s is f6a ha21s is k6a.
      The other thing to keep in mind is that the h-chassis is still going. The latest is a ha37s I believe.

      @@GarageKei I love that video as well, so thanks again for all the info! You are not wrong in that there is a very tangled web of chassis codes to makes sense of...

      @@GarageKei Will Do! However I have a bit of question, in your video you state that the 22 saw the introduction of rear discs, however my 22 as far as the photos that I've seen has rear drums, were the rear discs on the 22's optional?

    • @GarageKei
      @GarageKei  ปีที่แล้ว

      "the introduction of rear discs" meaning before that they simply didn't exist...... You're getting an ie.
      According to the books I have, the ie model didn't ever come with rear discs.
      I actually forgot to even mention the ie in this video.... I'll make a pinned post about it.

    great useful info!
    isnt the older model, the square one that was the first to get up to 64 ps also a c chassis?

    • @GarageKei
      @GarageKei  ปีที่แล้ว

      "the older model" one of them was, yes. I believe it was the ca72v but I'm not 100%sure. My previous video addressed this.

    So which is your favorite alto? CS or HB? I cant decide between CS22S and HB21S.

    • @GarageKei
      @GarageKei  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      From those two I would probably choose the cs22s because It's more boxy. But if I could expand it to include the CP21S I would probably choose that. I like the dash and seats better.
      But in my opinion you can't go wrong with either of your two options.

      @@GarageKei how commonly are cs22s going for sale over there, and how much? Having a whale of a time and time trying to find one for export.

    so i think i want a cs22s with 21 dash cos i want disks all round. what's the difference between cm cp and cs trim? also super dense video iv ran it back like 5 times just to find out what config i would like.

    • @GarageKei
      @GarageKei  ปีที่แล้ว

      Too many different trim levels and I don't have have footage of them.. the dash depends on the 21/22. The door trims and carpet too. (Flat grey vs blue and black raised carpet)

    Im in the USA and have a CR22S but Im having a hard time finding parts for it, somebody tried to steal it and broke a bunch of interior trim

    • @GarageKei
      @GarageKei  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a shame. Interior parts are hard to buy. Maybe still available new from Suzuki. Try megazip. If not you'll just have to stalk Yahoo auction. Unfortunately a lot of people can't be bothered wrecking them because there's little to no money in it.
