Pastor Green just be pouring his heart out and y’all be laughing so baaaad 😂😂 but you can tell it’s all genuine fun not an actual disregard of what is being said.. such a solid friendship 💪🏾
You’re so right. I be like man y’all let the man have a moment. But I also think because they’re all friends, maybe they want to pull him out of that place before it’s a slippery slope of emotions. Just some observations because they do it every time.
I’m several years older than you all but I want you to know that I’ve been really blessed by listening to you. Stick together. Keep this going. You’re blessing people older and younger than you.
What about the spiritual fathers that lack the ability to father bc they have never sat in the seat of a son? This has become a real issue. Going through ranks are essential to development. My father made me serve in capacities and not just enjoy the experience of being a pk.
This was really good and needed!! When Mark Moore said “every death isn’t physical” or something of the sort that hit me. Because I think you can be a son to whomever God has called you to, to lay a good foundation and down the line two things can push you out. 1. God leads you away and 2. Something happens within the parental that you can’t be a recipient of anymore. Not to take away of what has been laid but also can’t be built upon.
Yes knowing and following God’s voice is critical in our Spiritual growth and connections with God sent Spiritual father’s /Mother’s that would impart empower edify and equip one’s life !
I don’t know if this question was asked or answered on this episode..Does your spiritual have to be your birth father or commence with your birth father ?
@@travisblair3189facts…the older generation have a lot of unspoken traumas and wounds they call “fathering” or the negatives of it and they make it part of the process they put you through as well.
This is accurate. We cannot assume that every pastor handles all the sheep the way the Good Sheperd would. All flesh is grass. Some sheep have been driven away then labeled 'bad.'
I agree some sons don't want to take what Our fathers have now; we just want to help them, admire them, and would be honored to carry their legacy. All of the examples they mentioned Paul, David, Joshua/Caleb, Joseph and Jesus with the disciples. Their biological fathers didn't have a great legacy to give them. The Kings of the bible understood preparing sons and succession. When David became a king, he understood and prepared Solomon. God had actually tell him that his son was next. That seems to be a big subject in the African American church. Other reformations say to their sons, it's time for you and I'm going to help you. Whether it's here or another place.
You never lied! I've seen it and have experienced it. Your leaders can be intimidated by the anointing on your life. They will not allow you to operate because of this. And a lot of gifted men and women of God never reach their full potential in God.
You both are talking good and true. I myself experienced as well. It is hurtful. However they will be heald accountable for being THE STUMBLING BLOCK! My husband just went through this!
I think Bishop Jacob's View on this is very harmful lol. If my spiritual father fell by the wayside in sin or crazy carnalism, I'd get a new one too. I'm not following someone to a fault AT ALL.
@lanebingo Well you might as well just lean into your own understanding because everyone has something you won’t agree with on every aspect of things. You cannot just erase your first spiritual father from everything. How did they get that leadership position in your life in the first place if they was so toxic? Overtime things can occur is better well said. He is speaking from a respectful leadership point of views. You are the ones that is dangerous and need some re evaluation if you giving people leadership over your life without a full assessment first
@@kiwanamckee3581 no one said to erase your first spiritual father… that’s what everyone was trying to explain to Bishop Jacob’s. 😂 They were just saying that you don’t need to stay with them if they aren’t leading you right. You also sound a little hurt and blinded so I’ll be praying for you.
It seems like pentecostals are trying to create a spiritual office that is not mentioned in the Bible. That's why there's so much confusion around this topic...so much that these four men of God couldn't agree at times. Let's stick with scripture. The Pauline offices are Pastor/Bishop (the two being synonymous in Baptist doctrine) and Deacon. Spirit gifts to the church are Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, teacher. The spiritual father is something never spoken in scripture and is a modern creation that has subjected many to confusion, abuse, and manipulation.
Bishop Brandon has to be put on a time restraint….. lol Set a clock next to him when he is making a point, because that point is 3 points with sub points!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
What about the “bastard” sons, who’s father’s wouldn’t take the time to nurture and cultivate their gifts. How does that son move forward without a covering or how should that son seek the proper covering? And going further, what happens if in the same scenario, the spiritual father passes away before any reconciliation can be had leaving the spiritual son “bastard” without a covering.
Yall just don't know.... how beneficial this podcast is. I'm speaking for ME! I am loving, learning, gleening all of it. Prayers & blessings to all of you brothers 🙌🏾
I think church members need to create a show and talk about what they don't like about the fathers, if the fathers can create a show and talk about what they dont like about the sons, trust and believe it's a lot that the sons don't like about the fathers! Some fathers abuse their power in the church....let's talk about that!!

Sometimes you have to leave and allow the lord to put another spiritual father in your path!! Why? Because sometimes it’s not the son that is the bastard, and it’s not always the son that is the issue, it’s not always the son. Sometimes it’s the father that has allowed the evil spirit that entered Saul and jealousy, envy and hatred seeps in. So the change is some time’s necessary!!
Regarding spiritual fathers, if someone joins another ministry, is the pastor of their current church considered their spiritual father, or does he simply hold the title of pastor? It’s strange to be under a shepherd and not refer to that leader as your spiritual father.

So would they be considered a spiritual father? If they have never been a son, then maybe they are just a spiritual man, possibly a spiritual brother.
It would be great to hear this from the perspective of a woman as well.

Good talk
That cilantro is hilarious!
This was soooo good!
Excuse me, Let me Finish!
Why is it considered spiritual father vs mentor or just being discipleship
I don’t know if this question was asked or answered on this episode..Does your spiritual have to be your birth father or commence with your birth father ?
True Sonship not bastards !
Is Clack’s spiritual father Dr. Matthew Stevenson?
David was looking for a father because Jesse doesn’t didn’t recognize David as a son . . .
If this was answered in the podcast sorry for the redundancy. Is your pastor automatically your spiritual father/mother?
How do you know who or if your pastor that has been the family pastor is your spiritual father/mother?

Brandon “And God” Jacobs lol sent me outta here😩😂😩😂
Nobody is going to talk about MM’s hat???? 🧢 Like nobody????
What about it?
Bishop Jacobs, it’s not always the sons being rebellious, we must deal with fathers who abuse and mishandle sons. It’s only fair.
I agree. There's sons right now, that is dealing with being mishandled, along with being naturally & spiritually abused by their fathers.
Must!!!

Every death doesn’t require a funeral!!
The danger also of fathers being jealous and envious of their sons/daughters anointing. ( Who becomes Spiritual Bullies ) .
Big facts !! David and king Saul syndrome is a REAL THING!!
