- e adopted our first child, Ezra in January of 2020. We chose to pursue adoption after a very long battle with infertility. This is just a small glimpse of a very hard road that led to our son.
Above all else, we thank God for sustaining us for years of waiting to grow our family and answering our prayers. We love his birth parents, and are so thankful they chose us for him. We will never, ever be the same and are forever changed. We are also thankful to our family and friends who were rocks for us through it all.
Ezra, you were so worth every second of our wait. You are dearly loved, wonderfully made and have four parents who love you with all we have.
We have been considering adoption and I just bawled my eyes out watching this video. Congrats to you both!

I'm an adult who was adopted as an infant, and I believe adoption is trauma. One step in lessening this trauma would be to abolish adoption as we understand it in the US. In Australia, they practice Other Person Guardianship. Unlike an adoption arrangement, there is no secrecy about the child’s origins, no replacement birth certificate and no pretense. The child’s heritage and history are respected, because he or she remains legally a member of the family of origin and the original parents of the child are still that child’s legal parents. Guardianship is a child centered outcome, based on honesty and respect.
Darling, if you want to be parents, adopt your precious baby. Biology doesn’t make a family…. Love does. I grew up with a biological mother who showed no love. I have a biological son who I love with my whole heart and it made me realise that parents who love and respect their children are more important than dna. My son is now 25.. my husband and I are proud of him, grateful for him, and so close to our beautiful boy. Create your happy and be the parent you want to be ❤

This video made me cry, my husband and I are planning on adopting when the time is right. My husband has a genetic disorder that we don’t want to risk conceiving naturally so we have really had a heart for adopting recently. I'm in the process of adopting a baby boy after convincing myself that motherhood wasn't for me. Life has a way of revealing it's truth when the time is right. It's all in God's plan. ❤️. I lost my mom last year and get to welcome a new soul this year. My heart is so full watching this. Thanks for sharing ☺️

It’s beautiful but surreal seeing the emotions… shock, excitement, reality, nerves, happiness…. All the emotions we have as expectant parents…. No matter how we become parents. I’ve been watching adoption videos and realise how pregnancy can be taken for granted by us who never experienced infertility. I ache that you struggled and waited so long to have your baby.. Ezra will be loved, so happy that he was chosen by you… mom and dad. ❤❤❤

Iam so glad that you and your husband. Were able to adopt a beautiful baby boy I was adopted myself and my parents told me when I was little and I don’t mind it and I did have a biological sister I met her and I look like it was shocking
