Let's start with the billets you mentioned earlier. billets are not the raw material of a tmt bar, it is either pure iron ore or scarbs metals ... billets are made from these two materials..then the basic properties of any TMT bar are based on three properties..1- Mechanical property 2-Physical property 3- Chemical property Did you find that none of these things are talked about in this ... A 500D or 550D TMT bar yeild strength, Tensile, Elongation are all three of great importance?..As they said, if you want to get a tensile result up to 660, then according to the equation, its average yield should be at least 575?..Also, it seems that the bend test is not the right methods ... Do you want to rebend after doing 90 degrees?
