I think the main reason why so many inmates targeted scourge pacifically was because that most of them were thrown into prison by the Zone cops getting help from the inmates' universes' versions of sonic and since scourge *is* a sonic, they feel the need to take out their pent up frustrations on him. I'm not saying that he was the only one getting beat up, I'm saying that he was the main target of the entire prison.

760 mph was never ever the standard speed of sonic in the archie comics. Many times it showed him going much faster, including double light speed and creating after images. 760 is the standard speed of the Sega sonic version.
My favourite Sonic characters are definitely Silver and Tails, and my favourite villain is definitely Scourge. I like them because Tails is adorable, and Silver is very cool... And I ship Sonilver. Scourge is very interesting to me.
And now due to death of Sonic comic thanks to one of it's artists we will never see Scourge or his story continue. One man has killed a great comic series.

Mephiles is my favorite character in the games but in the comics, it's both Silver and Gold. Gold is so interesting and the only Tenrec I know in the comics. edit: While Silver is more interesting in the comics than games. I still like his game self though.
