First of all, thank you for subscribing! I have thought about some citrus trees , but I lease. If I owned the house I would go down a much grander and permanent path. So I will be putting in all my tomatoes next week in that ghetto trellace box you see there. I did not use shade cloth last year, however I will be using some this year. Since I want my vegetables 100 percent chemical free I compost year round at my little restaurant. I mix that in my basic planting soil and in my ground where I till. I use zero chemicals. I catch as much rain water as I can when it rains and store it in tons of 5 gallon buckets in my garage. Municipal water almost makes your plants worse than not watering them at all. That is so sad, but true. So I use rain water as much as possible when I water. I use minimal tap water. Are you in Texas?
If you start your garden with seeds, do you start in December to get them ready to go into the ground by February? And while those are growing do you start another batch of seeds indoors to be ready for the second wave? So much grow time down there, looks like you have what 9 months to grow? That's is awesome.😎👍
Yes I start many plants indoors in a hydroponic starter system. Some plants I buy as seedlings. It is pretty much a blend of sowing, starting, and buying.
