It bothers me to hell how the writers were screwing around with Helios here. Like in the 2nd half of NV, he just keeps losing to Drago 3 times in a row and then suddenly changing after that humiliating loss in the 6th battle.
The reboot is meh compared to this the og is way better then battle planet i have no problem with people who like battle planet its just not as good as the original
I still call BS for this fight. How Helios battle gear magically stop working and how Dan lost less life point. The plot was set up in Dan and Drago favor too much in my opinion.
@@nightshroud9671 1. The battle gear was unstable because Helios literally ripped out his safety circuits for more power at the risk of malfunction 2. Dan lost by less in his loss 3. They didn't ACTUALLY give him power, more likely just motivation to push himself harder.
Helios lost by 300 gs while Drago lost my a mere 100 so that's why Dan lost less points, but I do agree that Dan should have lost closer to 30-40 percent compared to the 20 percent he lost.
almost 2020...when watching the first bakugan season. i like some of the battles but after half season of new vistoria...the animation got better in the bakugan battles...so much more movement. also, does drago never use the perfect/infinity core?
Cyborg Helios, Helios Mk2 and Infinity Helios all have cyber tech that heals Helios after an attack. If we’re being technical, Helios would never lose of course being the system doesn’t malfunction lol

What I mean is, you know Drago's main form for New Vestroia was Neo Dragonoid (we didn't get to see him evolve from Infinity to Neo at the end of season 1/beginning of season 2 but Neo's first battle was in season 2. Well, Helix was his main form in season 3 (Gundalian Invaders) but his first battle as Helix was at the end of season 2 as seen here with Spectra. Also Spectra out her naming Helios's evolutions like Iron Man armour suits XD
I know that this comment have 2 years but I will still say: neo dragonoid wasn’t an evolution, but a downgraded form of his others evolutions, it was a form weaker than his previous evolutions, but I understood what you said

Dragon probably had to downgrade himself since having both cores in him was a little bit too much for at the time but as we know power scaling gets thrown out the window by the time Mechtanium Surge rolls around

Apparently after they were freed from the vestos toward the end of new vestroia they had to protect vestroia from any other threats, but for some reason drago who literally bears the silent core that hold the planet together left vestroia with dan to do whatever. I thought the same about keeping the og gang but it just be like that tho, i think toys just needed more variety.
Some dub lines are cringe (delivery does not help sometimes), though the show does have some good voice acting moments. Episode 38 of season 1 had some good voice acting from Lyon Smith as Masquarade.
