sample layering is the killer feature of the RYTM, and I like how you've found your own path for sampling and LFO'ing. I'm learning a lot from your vids! :D also, just like Impulse, the Noise machine works great for the resonant filter stuff too. sometimes you get a sandy texture when you make subby kicks that way with a long noise decay.
oh that's a great idea. I'm a really big fan of blending noise with bass tones, so surely i would like blending some noise in with a kick drum or, like you suggest, making a kick drum with the white noise itself! top tip.
I’ve got a question about a capability with the Rytm. I used to have a Machinedrum UW, and you would be able to apply global modulation/FX/manipulation to the entire pattern (all drum samples) and then in an instant, reset it back to the original pattern, is that something you can do with the Rytm? Thanks
Yes and no. It can’t do what MD can do as far as the control all functionality that it has. But the there is the performance mode which is maybe not as interesting, but similar sort of thing. Other than performance mode and scenes, you’d have to do this sort of thing with kits. Like change a bunch of things and then revert back to the original kit.

Can you release this without the voice? It’s such a distraction. Even if there was no voice and just words that would work. I just wanna hear the sounds and what you have to say without being reminded of the time my son was kidnapped and the perp called to negotiate his freedom.
Hello there! I’m sorry to hear about this inconvenience. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do at this time to change my creative voice and style. I also don’t have the hard drive space or attention span to upload multiple versions of videos. So the only viable option is to stick to my creative intent.

@@odalv7278 I 100% prefer the size of the takt/legacy boxes. Totally with you there. For video I’m using Powerdirector 365 and for DAW I use ableton
