Hi just wondering how did you get the cables off the spinny dial things, pulled it forward and found two cables under there that tighten and loosen depending on how dial was turned (strange cos I'd have assumed it was all electronic switches by now!!), I presume there is some way to release them that I'm missing?
Hello mate, thanks for uploading this video. I would like to change the bulb in this unit, but before I would take out the unit I would like to ask where is the light bulb exactly? Also would like to ask if this unit has separate fuses or only one fuse for all of the unit? I have the air circulation button which is not working, and not sure if it is a button issue or it may have a separate fuse? Thanks for your reply, Alex

No need to take this all off to replace the heater console bulb, remove the middle fan rotator knob, just pull it towards you and it should come off and the small bulb will be inside, use a small plyer and pull it towards you gently. If you struggle to remove the rotator knob in the middle use a very tiny flat screw driver and put it on the edge of the rotator knob and pull it out gently and it should come out, Its just 1 bulb for the whole console. If I am correct on the Astra G you have to remove the center console to replace the bulb but not 100% sure but either way its very easy to remove the center console.
