Thank you very much BW, i appreciate the compliment, she is a sweet car, also thanks for chiming in on the tack location, the hump it is,lol, talk to you soon BW
Great job, I am Ali from Saudi Arabia, I have a French made clone of MM it’s name is Sovra LM1 I think it was made back in the early 70s , I repainted it and made a lot of work on it but I still have to do a lot more, I love it so much , i and sons and grand children enjoy riding on the beach on weekends ,
Hey Ali, yes everyone loves a Dune Buggy, keep up the good work, i will look up your Buggy, i have more videos with the Buggy, (more smiles per mile), thats what Bruce Myhre the inventer of the Buggy use to say, lol, thanks for subscribing, i looked up your Buggy, very nice
Hi Mike, Great video! I love the color you choose. That picture with the ocean in the background with the sideview of the car is spectacular! Thanks buddy!!
@@DesertRatFabrication Hi Mike, I just uploaded in my SNSG with some pictures and videos of the event. If you go to Luis Lee's PlayingNTraffic TH-cam channel you should be able to find the best of the best. God bless you brother!!!
@@DesertRatFabrication it's all good! My videos are all over the place with new cars, old cars and everything in-between. Like I tell everyone else just watch what looks good to you and don't worry about the rest lol. I think I did a pretty decent job on the latest "update" video so you might enjoy that one :)
Nice buggy, makes me miss mine. I have owned two, one was a buggy made by fiber jet out of Sacramento, Ca and the other was an actual Manx. I owned them in the 80s, 90s, never should have sold the Manx. I currently have a nicely built desert rail buggy I run here in California. V.W.s make great off road vehicles.
That is very awesome, I will never get rid of the Buggy, I have had a few Baja’s that I really liked too, but the Buggy is just different, thank you for stopping by
That's a sweet Dune Buggy Mike! I really like the color on it. Your Buddy nailed it on the paint job! I think most of us are waiting on warmer weather! Talk to you later buddy!✌️
Thank you Don, I love driving the buggy when the weather gets a little nicer, and I am really happy with the paint, looks like the odds on favorite is the tack on the hump, talk to you soon buddy
Hey Chris, thanks for stopping by, yeah the buggy is a really cool car , the tack came out of the 55 truck , I think it will be really cool on the hump, catch you later buddy
Sweet Buggy, awesome paint, I think the tunnel is a good place for the tach, easy to hide the wires too, it’s not like you’re looking at it all the time.
Fun video Mike. I got a VW powered sand rail when I was 13, and I bombed that thing all over the desert until I graduated high school and had to sell it when I left for college. Thanks for sharing! Oh, and I think the tach down low might be hard to see, but it's about the best option if there isn't room anywhere else.
Excellent work! your buggy turned out really nice. I'm from Brazil I have a buggy Cobra. Look google this model. Here in Brazil the buggies models are very different from the USA.
I think you chose a perfect color when you painted that, looks great different parts of the day. Good job also on fiberglass repair, also Mike. I think the guage looks good down there.
Yeah Nick, the old yellow brings back a lot of good memories, it was just so old school with the sun bleached Yuma yellow, but I really love the burnt orange, probably the best part like you said is the way it changes colors with the day, just like the trucks the buggy is very special to our vintage car and truck history, thanks for your support Nick, talk to you soon
Thank you Gary, yeah i really love the buggy, once the weather gets warmer i will drive it a lot, looks like the tack gos on the hump, thanks for your input, catch you later Gary
That’s a nice, buggy, Mike. You guys did a great job on the paint. I think you found a good spot for that tach, on the shift tunnel. Shouldn’t be in the way, there.👍
Hey Tony, hope you are having a good 2022, I liked the faded Yuma yellow a lot it was a tough decision to change the color, but the burnt orange does look good, yes the tack looks good on the tunnel, seems fitting that the buggy borrows the tack from the 55 truck, talk to you soon my friend
Wow That's beautiful and sounds good! That's a pretty color. I think tach is nice on the hump. Very Good Video!
That Dune Buggy is killer Mike, also, the white Baja bug caught my eye! Thanks for sharing 👍
