Hi! New subscriber from KY, I always love coming across other Aprils! I loved this vlog, as I was working on a crochet mushroom. The bunny you made was adorable, but I can see how it looks like a kangaroo. It wouldn't be that hard to come up with a pouch for it. I look forward to your next vlog!

Hi, I make hats too! I totally agree with not being motivated sometimes to make the same things over and over. I am also looking for other ways to expand my business and make money. I have a few published patterns but I still get most of my income from selling finished items. It's great to have found you! All the best!

@@thecozybuckeye I don't get a lot of online sales as I struggle promoting the shop online. The thing with Shopify is you have to drive traffic to your site yourself. I mainly use it for markets since that is the card reader I have. It is currently $39/month but I have control over my listings and there are options to make your shop really fancy :) With Etsy, it helps that they advertise your shop, but for me personally, the hassles with Etsy is not worth it.
You came up in my shop life Etsy search. Love your content and I want to watch your other videos. I have a small Etsy shop where I sell small handmade accessories for Women and Girls as well as digital items. I totally understand wanted to transition to more digital items. I’m assuming you learned your crochet skills from your mom. My crafty talent’s definitely come from my mom as well.
Welcome! I'm so glad you are here watching. My mom was always making things by hand when I was a kid. She taught me the basics of crochet when I was only 8 years old. Hello April, I just started selling at Markets but have been Crocheting since I was 4 years old. I sell Plushies, Hats, Key Chains and anything that pulls my chain and wont let go. lol

I love flat work and do a fairly good job..I would really like to try amigurumi..I am fond of kitchen items to crochet..I have about 500 dishcloths I would love to sell.

It was great to see your mom. Do you video your set up of your before your market? I'd like to see your table set up. I so craft fair. But I do punch needle car coasters and t shirts. And what kind of yarn do you use for your plushies. I use premium and I have no luck with it. Tfs jen in south dakota.
@@Jennifer-oi8ni Thank you so much! My Mom is an amazing mom & my best friend. I love including her & I hope I get more opportunities. I plan on recording our set ups. It will be challenging for me because I have a rather large set up & some shows I’m in a hurry to get it finished in the time allowed. I’ll have to find a way to mount my camera so I can share as much as possible. I see so many vendors sharing, & I would like to share my knowledge of my 12 years of experience. The yarn I use is Bernat blanket for the plushies. I have used some sweet snuggles lite for some.

Hello! I would do a google search for “craft shows (your city)”. A good place to start are local high schools, churches, festivals. Apply for one to start. Go from there. It’s most definitely a learning experience. Best of Luck.
Have you ever done felting for eyes ? I just got the needles and punch but have never done it. I cant wait to try your eyes. @Twistandturns24

What kind of yarn are you using with your hats?
I use 4 worsted weight yarn. Mostly I use Impeccable by Loops and Threads. It has changed in texture over the years. It's getting a bit thin these days and I'm not happy about it. Thank you so much for commenting and for watching.
I hate mine I have the HP 2752E it has never worked correct. Just canceled instant ink, maybe I shouldnt of, hum.
I like instant ink. It's been helpful with printing. I never have to worry if it's going to work for me. They will always help me even though my printer is out of warranty.

I have major untreated adhd and I’m back watching same vids hahahaha ooops I miss parts so I can rewatch things and not realize it. I flipping love that scarf hat thingy with the ears hehehehe. I’m a disabled single mom starting small that’s self taught as well ❤️
