Im American born Guatemalan I ate pollo campero in NJ,Trenton and in Guatemala (I was 11year old I’m 34) to me they taste the same but what other people that are coming from Guatemala telling me that pollo campero over their is better.
Chicken it self campero is always been running central america. Best friend chicken plate tho is in Honduras. Pollo con tajadas/pollo chuco. Best friend chicken dish ive ever had.
I’m not the biggest fan of their Cole slaw or Mac & cheese but I do enjoy their yuca fries with their sauce. It’s nothing I’ve ever had. I just wish we had more of them around. The nearest one around me is 2 hours away 😥

Brother the only thing is missing to try is the empanadas that all said is realy good but I in Virginia U.S.A. The menu do not have that option so that is Cruel.

i just went around a year ago and tried it and they definitely season it more or do something extra to it over there it’s wayyyy better
I just ate there today. The chicken is so seasoned and delicious. I went to the one in Charlotte. Definitely will be going back.
