I used Foam Mo to make a dragon tail end-cap for my mace -- it loops down from the bottom of the haft then curls up around the haft. I didn't realize it had fallen off from what I had it propped on before it was fully dry and now I have a flat spot from where it rested on the table. :(
When using the foam clay on Eva foam making it smooth enough without any fingerprints and other strange marks that appear that has been a bit of a challenge.
I find the best thing for that is to have a small bowl of water on hand and dip your finger in it to get a little water on your finger and then rub your fingers across the foam clay, it helps to smooth it and remove fingerprints. :)
Did you get our foam clay Foam-Mo? There are some things that show up in searches as "foam clay" but that have tiny styrofoam balls in it, those are not the same thing and are not geared toward kid craft type of things. Look up "Foam-Mo" to get the good stuff. :)
Great product bro..I've been making some killer masks with it.. smooth AF
Thanks! Yay!! I'm glad it has been working so well!!!! :)
This is perfect I was just about to work on my prop and then I realized. Idk how to smooth it! Yay!
Haha :) Perfect timing! I'm so glad! :)
Not me frantically searching for this right after I’ve massacred my first foam creation 😭
Smooth!

:( shoot :( you can wet the surface of the flat spot with water and apply new Foam-Mo to it to round it back out if you'd like.

can you also paint foam clay or use felt?
Can you add enough water to smooth it down to make a liquid? I want to create drips.
You can water it down to a point that it becomes more liquidy but becomes harder to control and will take a while to dry and may shrink quite a bit.
How can I smooth our large surfaces that need to be flat. Tried this method and it didn’t work
