How to replace the case on a Vauxhall Zafira key with a cheap case from Amazon.

The case and lock button on my vauxhall key got broken. Also the blade would not stay in.
You can buy replacement cases and blade from these on Amazon for about 10 euro.
You can get the bland blade cut, but without the original board from the old one, it will not start the car. Getting it cut is easier the replacing the blade, but there is one where local that cuts this type of key.
So for me it was easier to change over the blades also.

Thanks mate for the video. The pins holding the key and/or the fake key I thought were bolts and needs to be unscrewed, until I watched your video and just pressed/hammered them out. Case replaced. Job done. Cheers.

Cracking video, had the same problem with the pin on the blade not matching the new case. Didn't see the tiny pin, but after watching your video I spent £5 on a cheap replacement from amazon and 15 mins pulling them both apart and I now have a working key fob! Saved me a couple of hundred pounds thanks!!!

Usually there's a screw under the logo, maybe that's why it was so hard to separate both parts.

ALSO YOU CAN SWAP THE BLADES FROM THE OLD SHOULDER TO THE NEW ONE, THAT WAY YOU CAN USE THE NEW FLIP BUTTON.

TAKE THE SCREW OUT FIRST, YOU NEED TO PRY THE BADGE OFF ITS UNDERNEATH.
