I personally like it without the black things with the candles on the wall. And I like how you made the bows on comforter on the top and not the bottom
i agree. i think they would have looked better next to the fabric knot ornament thing on the other wall
I agree and I would have used some kind of green cushions instead of black, so that they bring a bit more of a pop of color in the room. I feel like the black ones against such a white bed, linen and pillows are too dark. But anyway, I loved the end result and I would have loved to see your mum's reaction, Kristen! haha

Having a bit of OCD i would have hung the leaf art little bit lower, the art and mirror a little bit higher and the curtains not so high and a little wider and it would all be perfection :D

They just don't add anything to the wall except clutter in my opinion. I hope she took them down...

pulling off a paint suit is a special sort of skill that you're either born with or not 🤣🤣🤣 Spoiler alert: I was not
Designer TIP: I just marathoner several of your make-over vids and noticed you miss a important designer TIP when hanging curtains. The curtain edge is best when next to the finial. That means at least one (or more) loops, hooks or grommets need to be between the finial & the rod bracket. You have everything inside the brackets which limits the curtain and allows the outside edge to move towards the middle. Give this a try and you will actually get that wider window look you were after. All the best.

I was thinking 🤔 the same thing. The rods are empty on the end. It would definitely make the window wider. She did a fantastic job though!

I would have liked to see the candle sconces on the wall with the mirror, but still a gorgeous transformation! Way better!
The location makes me nervous like if they were lit and you accidentally reach and knock one down. Would be better at standing eye level.
Now I want to give my bedroom a makeover! I love the result 😍😍
Watching this for the second time.... my ocd is telling me that plant infront of the mirror is covering the mirror. What are your thoughts am I going crazy I feel like that plant must be moved

The Duvet cover looks like Eyelet Cotton. You did a wonderful job. Love the use of Black in the room. Very elegant , cozy and comfortable. 👍

That looks so great! Here's a designer's tip: candle wicks should be burnt once to give authenticity. Also, the beautiful spread could be considered an eyelet design. Love love!

Nice work! The macramé will bring 70's children back to their childhood. Don't knock the pink--it probably got you through your childhood and teenage years. Pink is very healing.

I believe the best rooms evolve over time as different items are tested and replaced with better choices. When we see to-die-for images of impressively decorated rooms, it’s uncommon that they’re pulled together in one fell swoop.
The best new decor item you introduced to this room was the leafy metal branch spray above the bed. That was an excellent find, and you’re off to a great start!
And thanks for sharing the name of the paint color - I’m looking for a warm creamy white and will look into that shade. Very nice choice.

@@guerillagardner3876 lol. 🤣thats not true at all - fake plants have come SO FAR and designers are finally learning not to try to stuff trendy plants in corners that don't have the right light just for an aesthetic so enter the new age of fake plants that look legit. I'm HERE FOR IT 🙌

My bedroom was the SAME color pink until a few years ago! (Hence my channel name 😂) I repainted it three years ago and made it a very light sand color and I LOVE it. I did it myself and it took a full day and it was exhausting. Watching this video made me think of that because our before and afters look so similar!

I love this room! The only thing I would change is the tall plant. I would use one that looks more realistic. Otherwise, it is perfect!

Maybe people use 3 pcs of curtain holder so thats the reason why it is sold per piece.

Ann 2018 totally the reason sometimes when it’s too long or when you curtain are too big you need pcs of curtain holder 😊 I like when they sell them individually because I don’t have one waiting in the garage for « one day if I need a curtain holder ... » 😂

Next week I’m getting a built in wardrobe and a new bed, Talboy (dresser with draws) sheets, throws, pillows, desk and I’m painting my walls white and having a feature wall painted pink and the sheets for my bed are grey and the throw will be pink and have a nice mat cause my theme is pink, grey and white. I’m so grateful and very excited. The only videos I’ve been watching on TH-cam is room organisation and decor. I am so excited 😆

Some great ideas that create calm using basics a person already has as well as a design that seems a little timeless, feminine yet neutral. I love it it even if it is three years later.

I am so thankful accidentally finding this video which changed my life! I was so inspired by your room make over I went got exact same items or very similar items for my bedroom including the bed and night stand, scones, metal leaves, macrame, fiddle leaf plant, similar black plaque&beddings, few plants and painted the room with exact same color polished pearl. It came out so beautiful I feel like living in a dreamy life makes me so happy every time when I enter the room and I can’t believe this is my room! Ive been wanting to do something about my room for so many years but have been putting it off all these years not having enough energy or the motivation. I kind of went crazy when I saw this video watching over and over again for days and finally I decided I was going to get exact same room. Not only it transformed my room but I am tackling rest of the house decluttering and re modeling to similar design I call it minimalist modern farm boho natural calm house. I can’t believe I wasted all these years missing out living in a beautiful room! I am so thankful to you for inspiring me and changing my life. Everytime I watch your other videos filmed in the same room brings me joy and smile to my face, feeling so proud and lucky, saying “wow this is amazing! I am sitting in the same room”! The comforter should be flipped around. The bows should be at the bottom. Other than that, the space is amazing and it looks great!

Yes, the opening of a bed cover is supposed to be at the feet of the bed so it doesn't get in our face when we are sleeping.
That being said, you can choose to do it differently, or course.
