I think the overall problem with this game is the lack of speed. It’s not like Crash Team Racing or Mario Kart or even Mega Man Battle and Chase where you have some sense of speed and power and bounce behind the cars. It feels like you’re just doing a Sunday stroll rather than driving a rally car I know this games for computer, but you could easily implement some sort of boost system by letting you drift by holding SHIFT. Would have those turns way more easy and allow for more dynamic track designs.
I dont think that’ll happen since Mario Kart 8 Deluxe already exists on the switch but they did make a sugar rush map on mario kart 8 deluxe called “Sweet Candy Canyon”
Thanks fer explaining where to find a flash loaded for modern OSs! This web version is about as close as you'll get to what you saw at the cinema. Try a keyboard to gamepad application to simulate what a proper home port of this would have looked like ... in the 2000s.
