Thank you. An excellent demonstration. As a couple of old codgers we were struggling. Jan & Alan have made it crystal clear for us as to how we can use our brand new DeLonghi Corso. Brilliant - and we loved the dog too!!!
I've just bought this machine and love it. Just for your info the button next to the eco button (descaler) is also used as a pre warm if you do this before making a coffee it will run hot water through.
this was so so helpful my husband and I were struggling as to get it to work and your video helped us more than i can tell you we did feel a wee bit silly not being able to work it out by ourselves and then you both came to help us thank you so much.👍
There is a trick how to make another cup after steaming the milk. No need to wait 10 mins to cool it down, just press single or double cup button. Lights will start flashing. Now open steam knob and release excess of hot water to empty cup/container. When the lights goes solid green you are ready to make another cup. It takes 30-40 secs :)
Really useful and a great review, of this machine, in my opinion. Very clear and detailed, covering so many of this machines features and how to use it! Enjoyable to watch. Well done both of you. Thanks.
Very nice review. I have just acquired one of these machines from my boss and am loving it so far. I have one suggestion and that is doing the milk first. Coffee goes bad quick after brewing so do that last. Once you have done the steaming of the milk, turn off the steamer button and then run some hot water by turning hot water/steamer nob counterclockwise to on position and run for 5-10 seconds so it runs water and not steam. Then you will find that you can do a cup of coffee right away. The manual suggests this way of doing it so no damage is caused.
Hi Al & Jan, we have more or less the same DeLonghi coffee machine and we use a Pyrex jug and ask the machine for 2 cups which we then pour into our coffee cups, instead of making one at a time. The Mrs tells me off at 5.30 in the morning though, because it can be rather noisy at that time of day. Have to agree with you though, it does indeed make a really nice cup of coffee. Have a great day both of you.
You really make me smile with your helpful videos. We just purchased the hoover you have just reviewed mark 1 not mark 2. I started watching for the plumbing tips. We now don't miss any of your videos thanks for making them.
Really good review thanks, had no idea those machines were so flexible in terms of taking beans or ground coffee and also the dials to set the exact amount and strength rather than a couple of preset options which is more common. Moving away from the pods does seem to give you access to a far larger range of coffees too 👍🏻
Loved the video .. I just picked up a second hand machine today and has only been used with one bag of coffee beans .. so like brand new 😂 I know it’s an older model but for £70 I’m quite pleased .. came with instructions also and looks new .
Ahhhh you don’t realise how excited this video review made me hahaha!!! I love the way you two are creatures of habit as am I!! My old machine just recently broke, so was thinking of getting this machine and wanted to check the way it’s used as I too am a creature of habit with the routine, brown sugar and biscoff :))) love the dog in the video laid in the room like “ffs he’s at it again” :D funny!! Well I’m buying the machine next week, I turn 40 so it’s a present with all money monies - much love from Leeds, ps I’m coming for a coffee soon ;-) try the illy beans they’re really nice and also Aldi’s own strength 3 and I’ve tried lots! Enjoy your coffees!
@@dereton33 loving it already, I did also notice you can do milk first then press steam button to turn it off then cycle the valve, this cleans the steamer thingy and also cools it instantly, so you don't have to wait 10 mins after..
Thank you very much for sharing, you have made it very clear, but I have a question please, are you sure that the light indicator on the left will flash if coffee grinder is set to maximum fitness?? Because I believe if you want to create espresso , then coffee should be fine otherwise won't crate good espresso or crema, am I right ? So you think it's better to make coffee first before creating frothed milk ? Thank you for your help
Thanks. I have just bought one and wasn't sure how to make cappuccinos. Now I know, I'm off to try one. BTW I couldn't take my eyes off your cute dog. He/she didn't move 😀
Seems like a lot of unnecessary noise on these new machines ... I have a Gaggia older type, still going strong and the only noise that makes is the grinding and steaming. No other humming huiring noises ...
I’m sure the coffee tastes great but at 5.30 in the morning with just 10 minutes to make and drink the coffee it’s far too much of a faff-I’d need to get up half an hour early just for a cup of coffee 😂I’ll stick with my tassimo machine I think-it’s just sooo convenient and quick
dereton33 I suppose you have to pay for convenience-and to be fair my local Tesco usually has the 16 XL tassimo pods on sale for £4 so a box lasts me almost 2 weeks.I agree the lattes work out pretty expensive for 8 but I’m not really a latte drinker-I find them too milky for my taste.I suppose if I had a 9-5 job I would have time to mess about with that kind of machine but not at 5.30 in the morning 😂😂
I think Bosch created a machine for proper coffee lovers with the speed and convenience of instant coffee so I’m more than willing to pay a little more for that convenience 👍

Glad it helped! Yes our Mo is a beauty. Thanks for the nice comments.
You're welcome and please give Mo a hug from us!😊
Super clean and clear review,
you both are a very funny couple ! I had a great time Learning to use this machine with your video.
Thanks

Love your straight forward style.

Hi if you fill the Machine with filtered water it will cut down on the descaling plus it makes the coffee taste better love all your videos
Thanks Ian a great tip.
Just got ours today and your video will help us to get started. Thanks so much
Have fun!

You are right there B scooter, we love the range of coffee we can choose from.
Ignore these idiots saying stop with the review vids. They’re brilliant. Keep up the good work mate.
Thank you.

I paid £150 @ Argos about a year ago. Great value machine. Love it
Nice one!
Lovely review! My wife just bought me one of these machines for my birthday.
You will love it Henry, great coffee.
Thanks for a great and informative video. I just got one of these machines from Santa
Enjoy it

That's a handy way to access the water tank. Mine is top loaded and it's a bit of a pain as it means you always have to pull it out from the wall.
Adorable couple. I have to buy one now :)
Go for it! We love ours.
The wife's laugh though!🤣😂🤣😂
She`s good.
Considering this coffee machine , thanks for a great review.
No problem .

We always make the coffee first and froth it last.
@@dereton33 what about the button far left, is it for sure going to flash if coffee finess is maximum?
That light is for water.
Thank you, this was helpful🥰
You’re welcome 😊
Bought this machine after watching this video, a good machine and delicious coffee from it
Great to hear! Enjoy Jazz.
Great review, thanks
No problem!
Thank you!!
No problem
Very useful, thank you so much 👍👍
You are welcome!
Nice review. It would be helpful to know how long you have it now and if you encounter issues with this particular machine.Thank you. Cute dog
Had it for a year with no issues, still gives great coffee.
Thanks. I have just bought one and wasn't sure how to make cappuccinos. Now I know, I'm off to try one. BTW I couldn't take my eyes off your cute dog. He/she didn't move 😀
Ha ha yes she is a cutie.
Excellent video I thought. 👏
Thank you! 👍
Best review around here..
Thank you.
I think grinder on No1 is finest grind, not the No7 as mentioned in the video.
Thanks ZP.
you two are very cute. great review too!
Thank you 🤗
Very helpful. Thank you
Ah bless you guys x
Thanks Liam.
i like how the reviews the cleaning haha
@Misael Brooks you're right - no one gives a shit

Luv the noise.
Great review thanks.
Sounds like a noisy machine though!!
It is
Probably they make it noisy on purpose. Makes you consider a more expensive one to buy
Haven't shown how to dispose the used coffee
In the bin of course .
You're well trained Al😁
Ha ha, more than 40 years worth of training.
I bought one second hand. And it always makes a clicking sound at the beginning and the end. Is that normal?
Yes ours does that.
@@dereton33 thanks for the answer! I am relieved 😉
When you turned the bag of beans toward the camera, I sniffed. What’s wrong with me?
A coffee addict like us. Ha ha.
What's is the model number?
No idea.

We did have a Tassimo until it broke 6 months ago. Just thought the pods were rather expensive.

But anyone with a linn sondek and naim amp is a number 1 youtuber in my book
Have you considered Mellow Birds? Lovely and done in 2 minutes.
great vids love them all are you 2 married keep up the good work
Yes we are and still a together team.
Obviously, you made the grind size too course! It shouldn't pour any liquid during infusion time
You like really weak coffee 😂🤣
As it comes .
Stop reviewing stuff and go back to basics and plumbing
That`s tough as I have done most plumbing and basics already.
