Hi, the artist here to casually answer your question~ And the thing is, back then, no, I thought Blaze was 18 years old. I don't know where I got that information from, whether by asking someone, some misinformation from Google, or assuming it by the character's mature way of acting. Too bad because I based ALL the comic in Blaze having 18 years in the future, and when I discovered that she was 14, the entire outline and sketches for chapter 1 was already done... So I left it as an AU instead of a prequel of Sonic 06 :)

In Sonic 06 , Silver and Blaze are nomadic survivors from the future . At the end of Sonic 06 , Sonic with Shadow and Silver destroy Solaris which causes the timeline to reset with some changes . The reset of the timeline results in the events of Sonic 06 being replaced by the events of the Sonic Rush games and Sonic Rivals games .
I think the comic was written by someone whose English was quite poor, so we just tried our best to make the characters say their lines in a more natural way
