Georgia is definitely an interesting wine region! I did an episode on Georgia last year (not on my TH-cam channel, but you can find it on Apple Podcasts and Spotify). I would love to visit someday as well! 🍇🍷
Really enjoyed Chablis in Bourgogne. Alsace definitely worthwhile. The Jura region worth a visit. Can taste the minerals from the ancient inland sea geology.
You said the Rhone valley.. There is the Northern Rhone & Southern Rhone.. and they are over an hour from each other!! Second, most visitors, contact the domains to arrange visits, it’s not about wine tour, this is not tourism, this is wine tasting at the highest level
Hey! Thanks for watching! This was my final episode of a 6 month mini series. For those who followed the mini series, they have much more context to this overview of my personal opinions from my 8 week trip. I think I mentioned that I only traveled to the northern Rhône and that I would love to visit the south in the future so I can make a more informed assessment in the future :) and I agree - in my travel tips episodes throughout the mini series, I always recommend booking direct with the chateaus and domains - but you’d be surprised at how many offer cellar door walk ups, especially in Hermitage. Thanks again for watching!
As a traveler myself, and lover of wine, the country of Georgia is top of my list. I'll check out your channel
