From the whole team at Precision Sails, thank you for the update and for the fantastic, positive message that we all need to do our part. Stay safe and healthy!
Your number one fan from Venezuela here, still working my way through all the videos I missed because I didn't have the internet for more than a year. How little we know what this virus was going to be, but even then you seamed very informed. From every angle the best option is to make it back to the boat. As the US turns out was not a good place to be, and you will be safer in the boat [my guess], finally you will provide much needed relief to all your watchers as we are stranded at home, today 3/26/2021 everything is shot down where I am due to a surge in the virus and I am grateful for your videos. Thank you.
Jason and Nikki you are both so amazing and so mature beyond your years You give me strength to smile right now and realize life maybe is put on pause for a reason Im 51, I feel like maybe 40 act like I am 15 Thank you so so much , you are doing such a wonderful thing for all of us and you guys squeeze every drop out of life You are such an inspiration to all that follow you in your amazing journeys I love you both very much I wish i had the courage , wisdom ,and strength you guys have Always reach out to your friends whenever you need help they will be there Tc , for now mark
Good luck you guys... The world is upended all over. Hope you are able to chalk this up to another “adventure” later on... like maybe in a year or two?? !
Positive, or whistling past the graveyard? For those unfamiliar with this expression: whistle-past-the-graveyard. To attempt to stay cheerful in a dire situation; to proceed with a task, ignoring an upcoming hazard, hoping for a good outcome. But I'm pretty sure the young lady from Texas is familiar with this old expression.
Holly molly what a shocker! All the best and hope that things sort themselves out in a sensible timescale. Hopefully you will sail back to Fiji at a future point and have the time and opportunity to enjoy it properly. In the meantime hang in there and keep your chins up plus keep well.
I am so, so glad that Singa is ecstaticly exploring that amazing ranch instead of experiencing the stress he would be going through now, and adding to the stress you guys would be under. You made a really, really tough decision, but it was the right one.
All I can say is try and stay safe. Our prayers are for your safe return to your boat and a safe passage to where ever you go. With you every step of the way.
Be greatful your together! My partner is stuck in the Amazon and I’m in Canada. We are not sure when we will see each other again! Thank god for FaceTime! Stay safe!
My Wife is only 225 Miles away from me, but at least we are in the same Country, Let's hope this is over in Months as against Years. Stay Safe, Stay Well and Stay Strong.
Just coming up to this video now as I started watching you guys a year ago and it is so strange that this was our lives 4 years ago! And the thought that it would be a two week shut down and life would be normal again…… so crazy.
Yeah 5 cases in Fiji and over 100,000 in the US. Probably not the worst place to quarantine I suppose. Wishing you all the luck getting back to the boat and good health.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE REAL TIME UPDATE! We care about you so much! In this very unusual and rapidly changing global situation it was wonderful to hear from you. Stay safe & healthy, dear friends! Let's all keep expanding our capacity for appreciating simple daily joys even if it's from within our homes day after day...
just... damn. was wondering how you guys were doing. thanks for the mid-week update. you are darn lucky you didnt get sick with 40+ hours of travel. keep your heads down and good luck!
Thanks for always maintaining your uplifting attitude! We are nomad travelers and came to Malaysia 🇲🇾 in time for what is now a month-long quarantine. Stay at home, people!
As Rod Serling used to say ... Submitted for your approval- a time traveling couple believes they are heading for Tonga, but find themselves detoured for an unknown destination called the Twilight Zone
You've got it easy . I and a lot of others are stuck, borders closed, in lockdown for minimum of 3 weeks and around 2 months before flights might start.
Now a year later almost, life still isn’t back to normal. I hope you’re doing good where you are. I’m rewatching all your old videos trying to feel like I’m not stuck in a desert.
Hey... thanks for the updates. I'm watching at home in UK where we are locked down too..... It's a real shame because your boat would be the safest place for you both, and everyone else. Keeping fingers crossed for your health and wellbeing... Good luck....and very best wishes.
Local boats pretty much everywhere have the same restrictions as landlubbers. Dinghy in for groceries, medicine, dinghy back out. I haven't heard of any place restricting this, have you? Plenty of marinas are closing, but these cruisers don't stay in marinas so that isn't a concern.
I happened across your channel a couple weeks ago and have become hooked. As a teenager our family had a sailboat on Lake Ontario so we loved the water. My wife and I took a cruise from Hawaii to the Marquesas and French Polynesia a year ago and have loved your videos of the area and especially the underwater filming. I've gone back and watched your sailing school videos, through the Panama Canal, etc. and have just loved them. It's also interesting to see how your videos have improved over the years. Great stuff and you two are a wonderful couple. Cheers from Utah!
Stay safe you guys. Here's hoping for a quick end to this whole affair. Looking forward to many more episodes. Take care and best of luck to you both....From a loyal Canadian follower :)
Best of luck to you two!! I have to say how much I have been enjoying your videos! Thank you for all you do and the struggles you endure to bring these videos to us. Looking forward to seeing you at home on your amazing catamaran safe and sound very soon!
first sailor people video that i see that takes this serious and just deals with it. that being said you are probably safer where you are, if you can afford to stay you should do it.
Nikki, I feel for you. I also have several allergies. I usually say that allergy season starts in January and ends in December. Keep up hope, guys. You'll get home eventually.
Although you don’t know me, we who follow, know you, and we care,.Stay safe, stay positive, and remember your sailers: when sh.. happens, you need to make sh... happen. Lots of love, and thanks for sharing
Greetings from Ontario Canada. Still cold and wintry here. Be safe, healthy and happy. Good thing you are travelling together! God’s blessings to you for continued good health.
Ontario is bigger then a lot of countries, down here in southern Ontario, Niagara, its 10°C or 50°F . Getting warmer. We too have a stay at home order. 🇨🇦.
Not the worst place to be stranded, but totally understand how you just want to go to your home on water. It's home!! God's blessings to you, stay safe and well...Nikki I hope your allergies settle down soon. 💕
Thinking of you two! Those flights looked brutal. Fingers crossed that you can get back to Curiosity soon and, if not, can perhaps start getting out and about in Fiji in the meantime. (Also- Jojo Rabbit is insanely good! I also watched that on my recent Emirates flight 😊). Best wishes - Nick & Terysa
Glad to see you are both well, keep your spirits up. I am keeping mine up, having discovered you a couple of weeks ago, watching your cruise from the start. You guys are an inspiration.
This quarantine situation is going to last for a very long time, many months, according to public health experts. Anyone who thinks this is only a matter of a few weeks has no understanding of the gravity of this situation.

Wow, I can’t imagine the wave of consequences you have run into. Houston just started its first day of stay at home lockdown. Grocery stores, pharmacies are open and you can walk in a park if you maintain social distancing. Business other than those needed for day to day goods are required to close. Supplies at the stores are ridiculously short and hard to find. For us seniors it is hard to get there before everything is gone. Some stores are opening very early for 1-2 hours to allow seniors in....yea! Be safe. Fred Houston, Texas
You guys are so sweet to let us have an update, I have wondered how in the world you are going to get back to Tonga. Your flights, grueling! Insane amount of travel at once. I pray you get back home and on with your adventures that I so enjoy watching...I clearly live vicariously! lol Hugs to you both and safe travels friends, from Austin, TX.

Seeing how far you've flown so far and still not at your destination puts in perspective how far you two have sailed around the world.
So glad you did the update. I am so relieved to see you are coping with it with smiles. 👏👍🤪
OH! We spent 20 hours stranded in Qatar and luckily got out just in time before it got worse! Our heart goes out to you!
All I can say is try and stay safe. Our prayers are for your safe return to your boat and a safe passage to where ever you go. With you every step of the way.

So sorry to hear about your predicament. We are concerned. Everything is shut down here in Las Vegas too. Stay safe and update us when you can.
T Bass Bone 👏
Dang that sucks. Best of luck getting back to the boat.

one shining ray of light in all this... your kitties are happy and safe!!!!
Didn't one die? I'm pretty sure one died.

I nearly got stuck in Sint Maarten while visiting friends on their boat so I understand the anxiety. Thinking of you both.
So sorry, be safe and love the positive attitudes. You guys are the best.
Blessings, patience, and strength be yours! It's a crazy time we're in
Hang in there guys!! We are an airline family and life is (excuse the pun) so up in the air right now for all of us. Stay healthy!
For the cost of tickets home, you can enjoy a lovely stay in Figii.
You too are champions, be safe.
Hey... thanks for the updates. I'm watching at home in UK where we are locked down too.....
It's a real shame because your boat would be the safest place for you both, and everyone else.
Keeping fingers crossed for your health and wellbeing...
Good luck....and very best wishes.
Thank you for the video. Take care and hoping you can return to the boat soon
Good luck Nikki & Jason, hope it all works out for you guys ❤️
Good luck getting back to your boat. It’s a scary time in the world now. Stay safe & healthy.
It’s probably actually better to be on land, there are not many ports or marinas allowing boats to dock, even to get provisions.
Stay safe
Exactly... stay off boats!
Good luck, good health and safe travels to you and everyone out there. Time to re watch some of these videos then while we quarantine this thing out.
You are loved and we are rooting for you. Let us know what we can do to help
thanks for the update! All things will pass. thumbed
Oh man... feeling for you guys. I get that you just want to get “home”. Stay healthy...xo
home is where the heart is.
I am sure their and our hearts are on S\V Curiosity.
@@drx1xym154 Home ist where the *_boat_* is
This is all surreal. What a trip you are on. Hope you eventually get back to the boat (home). Stay safe.
hope you get "home" to the boat sooner, understand things a bit harry and things are a hot mess. Wishing you well and a little luck, hugs from Canada.
Great to see you two but am sorry it is under such crumby circumstances. Wish you the best of luck! Be safe. See you in a few days.
I hope everything goes well for you
Take care of yourselves. Both of you. Lots of water and vitamins!!
Come stay with us in Cape Town! West cost! 😊🙏🏻

Fiji should be pretty cheap really. As long as you aren't in the "Turista" areas.
Nikki, I feel for you. I also have several allergies. I usually say that allergy season starts in January and ends in December. Keep up hope, guys. You'll get home eventually.
Reminds me of a line from Apocalypse Now..."never get out of the boat!"
Great reference..... no tiger involved!
That's what we live by in the Aligator River system. Of course we have no alligators to worry about. The crocodiles ate them all.
Lol
We wish you speedy travel to your home on your sailboat. Thank you for sharing with us.

"Stranded in Fiji."
Before these days, that would have been a punchline. . .
Stay safe and well. . .
Thanks for this update guys. I hope you'll be able to get back to the boat sooner rather than later, and I hope you remain in good health.
Post more videos to catch us up in real time

Glad you well luckily you left when you did SA now in mandatory 21 day lockdown. Be safe and well. Hope you reach boat in near future.

good luck both of you
Well that is high adventure stuff, and Fiji is a nice place to be stuck. Stay healthy and good luck 👍🍀

Given how most of the US is dealing with this pandemic you're probably safer where you are.
I am sure some in the epicenters in Europe and the US would pay good money to swap places.
The US isn't home to anybody right now. Food shortages, quarantine forever...
Man, that's nuts. Stay where you are!
and 4 months later the US is still in total disarray with no real plan and spiking cases. Just go anywhere else...
Best of luck. Not a bad place to be stranded.
What a time to bei alive. Boring was yesterday.
Needless to say that I feel for you. To be stranded not far away from your home is unfortunate.
Best luck!
I really appreciate your common sense and positive attitude.
Be safe guys! Travel in airports is risky with COVID-19.
i could think of worse places than Fidji to quarantine! it was striking how care free you were at the beginning of the video! Stay Safe !
You know that was moonshine not water Nikki was drinking ; ))
Be safe.... thank you for your wonderful adventures...
This quarantine situation is going to last for a very long time, many months, according to public health experts. Anyone who thinks this is only a matter of a few weeks has no understanding of the gravity of this situation.
You can totally control if you get sick.. Just stay isolated and practice social distancing. Hand washing! Buy food, and some wine, and then read books. This is the time to read all the classic books (free to download). You guys are GREAT. I hope life gets back to normal as soon as possible.

Is it possible to have someone sail Curiosity to Fiji for you?
Or a passage TO Curiosity?
Thats a Great idea!
If you can’t fly in/out what makes you think they will let you land? What a great way to get stuck at sea, similar to the cruise ship issues.
Ports are all locked down .
Oh so close.
Thanks so much for the updates. It reminds me to be grateful about being stuck at home instead of someplace else.
Take good care you two!
