I absolutely love when Devon Butler is involved. It's so unbelievably cool that he became such a big part of the TH-cam scene just for essentially being a good bloke and embracing the opportunity he was given.
The fact he's even on the grid with you guys is admirable.
I do want a pint with him, I also think I may have just realised he's my mancrush. Oh well. Could be worse.

I know i'm going to be told to 'cope harder' and realise 'it ain't that deep' but I can fully understand why guys like Tom97 bailed out of Creator Series based on the direction it's headed into. The series has the potential to be unbelievably awesome if it's managed and run right instead of being a mickey mouse league. Inters pole, hard tyres being banned, no stewarding, allowed to work together to take out or hinder a driver is just madness.
It just confuses me how Ben gets any satisfaction out of winning these races.

Couldn't agree more. I instantly skip the inters pole parts and hated when Inphratic caused intentional safety cars for his benefit. It just ruins the racing. Banning hard tyres is a dubious decision as well.
I did watch Creator Series, and you Tiametmarduk for the simracing. Yes, it wasn’t F1 E-sports level of driving but indeed great racing and commentary. It had strategy, points system and structure. I watched it as a league, for the great racing between one-another. In my interest and opinion, and from what some others are commenting, i do think this is the wrong way forward for the Creator-series.
Looks like they’re taking a step back though fortunately

I’m all for the joking and banter even the little safety car passing bit that they do but the deliberate safety cars are so silly. Glad they’re putting a stop to that now, hopefully this will keep the series fun and fresh enough while still being at least a good bit competitive

I know it’s a “fun” league but gotta be honest, elrey didn’t deserve it this time. His driving has improved significantly and his pace is really good, sad to see him being taken out, would’ve loved to see if he could’ve caught up to the top again! But was great Entertainment anyways! Congrats on 10!

Elrey's plan is simple, make you fight with others so he can drive away, if that results into a crash for those behind him by driving very slow, he couldn't care less.

I think I have the unpopular opinion that specific race gimmicks can be cool like F2 and no hards, BUT yeah the lack of human stewarding, allowing collusion, and the intentional safety cars (which seemingly has been changed) is just ludicrous. Like I think the Adam ElRey collision was super exciting but Adam directly saying he would help Ben and also not taking any blame for the crash as per the game's rules is frustrating.
When Ben wants to win and takes it seriously he’s so clear of 90% of these drivers, races like this makes it obvious he does lots of these races with content in mind as well

Im so glad that causing intentional safety cars is now banned. I dont now why less strict rules would cause people to be less sweaty, just do random track at every round and people wont spend a whole week practicing.

This whole video I was thinking that ElRey's driving has massively improved recently (not only in terms of safety, but also pace), only for the other people in the lobby to do to him what they despised him doing in seasons past. This is some utter nonsense and honestly makes the series less fun to watch.
I'm glad intentional SCs are at least gone (not sure why it was allowed in the first place), but I also think the hard tyre rule should be dumped. Strategies are not dynamic at all and super predictable now.
I'm all for a relaxed league with creators driving for fun, but if these are the standards that the league is okay with, the viewership *will* drop - that is a given. Relaxed rules is fine but there should still be rules, if something is clearly one person's fault they should still be penalized for it. You can judge it on the outcome of an action instead of the action itself to make it a bit more casual than normal, but there *have* to be consequences.
Your comparing the past league races where they actually took it seriously compared to this no rules junk? lol So now that people can take him out without consequences suddenly they shouldn’t cause he had a change of heart? That’s not how it works bud sorry.

Well done on the win Ben. However, the voluntary safety car is just the drop that makes the glass overflow. It is regrettable that we can't enjoy some great racing with great battles because some try to bridge the skill gap with malice. Bending and playing with the rules is a big part of the sport, but this is not playing with the rules, its disregarding the integrity of the race and the league and that destroys any interest we might have for the rest of the race. If the drivers don't take the race seriously, and the league, how are we meant to ?
Elray so badly deserved that from Devon. Tbf it was technically legal from Devon, but he knew full well what he was doing. Elray did it to Matty though in an illegal way so like I say, fully deserved

What’s the point of the intermediate tire pole?
For some ridiculous reason they get given a bonus point for setting the fastest lap on Inters on a dry track. One of many reasons why Creator Series is a joke.

Honestly the rule changes have made this borderline unwatchable. Also kick elrey out of the series. His horrific tactics negate any good quality racing. He is part of the downfall of the series - it doesn't matter if he is quick.
