I must admit, I didn't know what this game was - but I very much enjoyed watching you play it and determine your next project. Good luck with your knitting.
Knitting works a slightly different set of muscles and joints. I developed pretty bad tendonitis in my left elbow area, and had to lay off crocheting while I went through physical therapy. Knitting was something I knew from my childhood (just knitting, no purling), and it has helped a lot to switch between the two crafts once I was done with therapy. I knit Norwegian because that was how I was taught (I'm Swedish), but learned purling from youtube and started out continental style. As a crocheter I found it really difficult to tension my yarn that way, so I would suggest learning how to purl Norwegian even if you knit continental. Arne & Carlos here on youtube have some great videos explaining Norwegian knit and purl.
Gotta agree here. Started knitting after crochet thinking I was knitting continental. Turns out I was knitting Norwegian because of the way I tension in crochet and finally found Arne and Carlos and I am now just learning all of their knitting techniques. This way I don’t have to change the way I tension and I can actually knit something besides a garter stitch!
I have no idea what just happened, but the randomness of it, accompanied by the sounds of battling Ewoks, made this fantastic to watch! Good luck with your knitting endeavours. It's always exciting to try something new 😊
Oh gosh, I wish I could heart this 5 times over!! This was absolutely hilarious!! I'm sitting here at work, on my lunch break trying not to literally LOL! Didn't matter it wasn't directly crochet related, it was a great and highly entertaining video non-the-less! Thanks for the laughs!
Long live the Stitch State! Seriously, I am loving slow stitching at the moment. I often add crochet into it, but it's seriously lovely. I liked this sort of video- super fun.
This video made me laugh. Good luck with your knitting. I sent your video to my daughter because while she isn't crafty, she draws and games a bit and is always asking me to help her choose her next subject to draw. You may have hit on an something here.
I loved the style of this vid! Super fun to watch, would be totally happy with more gaming/non-crochet content. Felt like watching a riveting esports match but with sass, so even better lol
Honestly this is the most fun craft related video I've ever watched, EVER! 2 things I love more than anything is crafts and gaming and you brought them both together😊 This makes me so happy! Hahaa thanks for that entertaining 30 odd minutes of crafty carnage😆
Now I really want a craft wars game of some sort. lol. I was really rooting for the Embroidery Empire, that's my other leading craft these days with crochet.
That would honestly be so cool. Maybe the Embroidery Empire will have better luck next time, I'm considering revisiting this idea when I'm done with knitting.
Since you asked for some more ideas for non-crochet crochet videos. I've been seeing quite a few people use polymer clay to make their own handles for their metal crochet hooks. I'm thinking of trying it out myself. That might be a fun project to try?
Once a year for the last several years I've tried to learn to knit. I will be trying again this year...and probably next year as well. lol Can't wait you see your attempt. Hope you do better than me.
I loved this video and now I kinda want to have fun with that game. I got myself wanting to try knitting because I found someone who made frog socks and now that is a must have for me to learn to knit.
I have been crocheting for over 40 years and I learned to knit about 2 1/2 years ago. I have loved it. A lot of people will tell you that because you crochet you need to knit continental. I disagree. I say, try a few ways to hold your yarn. Find which one makes the most sense for you. I hold my yarn in my left for crochet and right for knit and it's perfect for me. Good luck on your knitting adventure. I find it helpful to have another yarn craft when my arm says no to crochet.
Thank you. A lot of people have recommended Norwegian style as it's apparently easier on the hands. I think I'll just try a few different things and see what works best for me.
Most people would have put the crafts in a hat and picked one. Maybe used a random topic picker. Only Leigh uses her gamer skills and makes them fight it out. 🤣😂🤣 This is why you're awesome.
I know you’re just setting out on your knitting journey, but as a knitter the best piece of advice I can give you is to invest in decent quality needles. I recommend the prym ergonomic if you can get them. I find they help reduce the pain in my hands when I knit for a long time.
Thanks for the tip. I'll probably start out with what I have (I have a whole bag of needles from various relatives) because I don't really want to spend money upfront if I'm not going to stick with the craft. But if it turns out to be something I continue with, some decent needles will be a good investment.
I don't game much, but I loved this video! I thought it was hilarious! I would watch more of these videos even without the crafty wars. Long live Beady Boy! 1-10ish....
This was an interesting way to decide haha Though, why put crochet in there? It's not a new craft for you... what if it had won? Good luck with your knitting adventure! Looking forward to your next video ^^
Thanks! Crochet was my free space so if it won I would've chosen the craft. For some silly reason though, I cut that explanation from the video. Whoops lol.
That's interesting, I've had some people say the opposite is true for them and it's crochet that's more difficult. Though, I suppose it depends what type of pain someone is dealing with. Thanks for the tip about Norwegian style too :).
You might want to try getting a knitting machine if you are gonna try knitting I don’t know much about knitting but try looking for flat bed knitting machines (I think that’s what they are called) they are expensive but with you’re health concerns they might be worth a look.
Lol I don't have the faintest idea how this game works but with your commentary it was super amusing and also - a great fun way to decide on a new craft (or whatever). Why did you put crochet there as well though when it was about deciding what new craft to try?
Thank you! I used crochet as a 'free space', so if the Crochet Country won I got to choose what craft I tried next.....but I stupidly cut my explanation of that from this video 😅.
It's called worldbox. Here's a link: store.steampowered.com/app/1206560/WorldBox__God_Simulator/ I can recommend adding craft wars to your list - it's a lot of fun 😂
Just for clarification because I didn't think to mention it in the video itself, this video isn't sponsored - I just enjoy playing worldbox.
"Knitty Mcgee has 19 children already.... Well, you do have a legendary stick" 👏😂 incredible humor
Was a bit worried I might violate youtube TOS with that though 😂😅
That made me cackle 😂
I must admit, I didn't know what this game was - but I very much enjoyed watching you play it and determine your next project. Good luck with your knitting.
What a fun method of handling analysis paralysis!! I will have to try it out.

Cheers, I'm excited to get started!
I so wish that this had been livestreamed. This would have been awesome !!
Aussie crocheters living yarn under
Oh gosh, I wish I could heart this 5 times over!! This was absolutely hilarious!! I'm sitting here at work, on my lunch break trying not to literally LOL! Didn't matter it wasn't directly crochet related, it was a great and highly entertaining video non-the-less! Thanks for the laughs!
Cheers! I'm glad you enjoyed it 💙
I really enjoyed this, as a crafter and a gamer, it was very entertaining 🙂
Omg this was hilarious, please do more videos like this!
My son and I really enjoyed this video! My son immediately went and bought the game, and has his own craft wars going now. 😂
Awesome, I hope he's having fun with it.
Long live the Stitch State! Seriously, I am loving slow stitching at the moment. I often add crochet into it, but it's seriously lovely. I liked this sort of video- super fun.
You will enjoy knitting. I knit and crochet both. Have fun. I really enjoyed the way you did this.
The King pun names are all FANTASTIC 😂😂
I haven't watched gaming videos in many years but this was so entertaining! Had never heard of this game before.
It felt like I was watching a sports commentary but actually interesting! haha
That's the highest compliment I could've received lol.
This video made me laugh. Good luck with your knitting. I sent your video to my daughter because while she isn't crafty, she draws and games a bit and is always asking me to help her choose her next subject to draw. You may have hit on an something here.
Love the creativity and goofiness behind your videos - keep it up! 👏👏👏
what a hilarious way to decide. most people just do a spinning wheel but this is so much funnier.
I've done the spinning wheel thing so I wanted to try something new....if a little different 😂
I loved the style of this vid! Super fun to watch, would be totally happy with more gaming/non-crochet content. Felt like watching a riveting esports match but with sass, so even better lol
Everything changed when the clay nation attacked.
Honestly this is the most fun craft related video I've ever watched, EVER! 2 things I love more than anything is crafts and gaming and you brought them both together😊 This makes me so happy! Hahaa thanks for that entertaining 30 odd minutes of crafty carnage😆
Cheers! It was a bit of a fun experiment combining the two and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I think you’ll enjoy knitting. My main advice is to try continental style. It is usually more intuitive for crocheters.
Since you asked for some more ideas for non-crochet crochet videos. I've been seeing quite a few people use polymer clay to make their own handles for their metal crochet hooks. I'm thinking of trying it out myself. That might be a fun project to try?
Would've been a cool project if the Clay Nation had won 😂. But yeah, I've seen those too and I reckon I'll have to give it a try at some point.
Once a year for the last several years I've tried to learn to knit. I will be trying again this year...and probably next year as well. lol Can't wait you see your attempt. Hope you do better than me.
I'm not confident lol but I'm going to give it a go anyway. Good luck on you next attempt!
I loved this. Much more interesting than a simple wheel, even if it does take a lot longer
I loved the Crafts Wars :) This was a fun way to decide on your next endeavor
I loved this video and now I kinda want to have fun with that game.
I got myself wanting to try knitting because I found someone who made frog socks and now that is a must have for me to learn to knit.
Would definitely recommend worldbox, no two games you play in it are ever alike.
Tbh, frog socks sound super cute.
I have been crocheting for over 40 years and I learned to knit about 2 1/2 years ago. I have loved it. A lot of people will tell you that because you crochet you need to knit continental. I disagree. Haha thanks, I thought I'd try and put a unique spin on it.
If you got those smaller circular knitting machines I can bet you’d be able to come up with killer knit amigurumi ideas!
I wasn't prepared for laser crab at the end 😆 soo excited for knitting content! Ive been wanting to try it, but im scared lol.
No one ever expects laser crab lol. And honestly, me too. Knitting looks so weird to my crocheter brain.
I know you’re just setting out on your knitting journey, but as a knitter the best piece of advice I can give you is to invest in decent quality needles. I recommend the prym ergonomic if you can get them. I find they help reduce the pain in my hands when I knit for a long time.

Haha that was so much fun!
This was hilarious and fun! Poor Beadi Boi just couldn't keep it together
This is the only way to pick a new craft!!
I don't game much, but I loved this video! I thought it was hilarious!
I would watch more of these videos even without the crafty wars.
Long live Beady Boy! 1-10ish....
Honestly, I lost track of how many Beady Boi's there were in the end 😂
I absolutely loved this!
This was surprisingly engaging to watch XD
I haven't even watched the video yet, but I have to say I LOVE the thumbnail.
Cheers I wanted to try out something new :)
Excellent casting!
Whoops lol.
this video was so fun! I would love it if you wanted to pick a game to do a lets plat series on!
Kimberley Potter here. This video made my day😅
I find knitting harder on my various pains than crochet. Good luck! Norwegian style is much easier on the hands btw x
That's interesting, I've had some people say the opposite is true for them and it's crochet that's more difficult. Though, I suppose it depends what type of pain someone is dealing with. Thanks for the tip about Norwegian style too :).

It's be interesting to test out but as you said, they're expensive, so I think I'll have to stick that in the 'maybe one day' column for now.
Sooooo excited!!
Me trying to figure out how to repurpose my costuming skills so that I don’t murder my body.
Can't crochet, time to try a new craft. Wait why am I playing games now? Why is this so relateable 😅
lol that random lemon
Lol I don't have the faintest idea how this game works but with your commentary it was super amusing and also - a great fun way to decide on a new craft (or whatever).

That was amusing.😅
knitty mcgeeeeeee ftw 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I loved it so much 😂❤
This was so exciting 🤣🤣🍿🍿🍿 do u have twitch? 😅
Cheers! I do have one but I've never used it.
What game is this? I'm in constant hobby wars and making craft wars can be added to the list. Lol
It's called worldbox. Here's a link: store.steampowered.com/app/1206560/WorldBox__God_Simulator/
I can recommend adding craft wars to your list - it's a lot of fun 😂
🤩🤩🤩🤩
is this a sponsored video?
No, it's just a game I enjoy playing.
Haaa! I enjoyed the CraftWars2024! Perhaps AI BotBoy needs to get involved again? Have a terrific weekend/week! ☺️🫶🏻🧶
