Everytime I see him run I think it's hilarious. I thank God he doesn't live in my building. My kid doesn't even run down the stairs. Hearing that everytime Cash came through would definitely irritate me.
You have such great energy. I agree with some of the other comments - $2000/month is high. Where I live, my husband and I have an opportunity to rent a 3 bed and den, 2.5 bath townhouse with a garage for $1750/month and we feel that's high. Oh well still love to see all the great places 8n New York.
I live in SF, CA and the going rates for full 1 bedrooms are probably $300-600 more than that, so $2000 is actually a decent (not amazing) deal here too.
Maybe if it were a rental, this would be a better price, but we all know if we're privileged enough to buy, you're going to be getting more bang for your buck (and least currently), so the $2K/mo. doesn't impress me.
I would put the dining table in the kitchen area, doesn’t really have to go against the wall opposite, then the table can serve as an island as well, and give you more counter space!

oh, the El ... when I was a kid, I'd spend a few weeks each summer at my Nana's apartment in Woodside; that elevated train was soooo fascinating. You could see it from her bedroom window; I'd stay up watching. And going up those stairs with the little token with the cutout Y clutched in my hand... Good times. Nice place. PROS: I really like the kitchen space. CONS: hmmm... could be a better view, but the quiet is pretty nice.
Really beautiful! Love the laundry in the apartment! The brick is great with the wood floor. Def put in a dining table. The under cupboard lighting! The oven! And a sprayer! oh Boy! Love the huge closet. The huge bathroom doesn’t have the grey brick tile design! With a medicine cabinet!

Such a good area. The new buildings built by Queensboro Plaza went up so quick. Well quick for someone who lives in Southern California where it takes years to build! Usually stay at the Hilton Garden Inn by Queensboro Plaza.

As someone who is living in Astoria, I gotta say, this apartment is absolutely gorgeous for the price. Almost surreal. Live with your girlfriend, and you pay 1k a month each.

I have seen apartments that I have thought were spectacular, but would NEVER be able to afford. I can't afford this one either, but it is more attainable. :D I love your videos. Cash does such a good job of showing apartments in their best light...however, I viewed an unrenovated 1 br in the same building about four years ago, going for 350k (remember the market was high then). The BIG negative of the building is that it is part of a rent stabilized complex that turned co-op...that means you have many neighbors who are long term residents paying WAY below market, and the co-op owners are in effect subsidizing them...renters supposedly aren't allowed to use the upgraded amenities like the rooftop, but, really, how do you stop them? I also met the super, who was rather unfriendly, so I'm not too sure how good it would be if you need something fixed. Just reminding everyone that appearances aren't everything--when buying you have to carefully look into the finances of a building. If the owner of this apartment is looking to sublease, I would be willing to pay $2000/mo to RENT.
Nice size apartment for a single person or a couple. The neighborhood is no retail desert that's for sure. And, the price is affordable. Looks like a winner!! :)

A huge medicine cabinet, a kitchen faucet sprayer and a wand in the shower. Ya don't have to look any further. Well, I did. On my map, the location seems a good hike from the subway station, and there was no mention of an elevator. The rooms are small, so only minimalists need apply. Both the kitchen and bathroom are better than typical NYC offerings. Having laundry in the unit is a big plus. It's nice, but I expected more for the money when off Manhattan Island.

The thought of riding a bike outside in the nasty streets then rolling it across such nice floors and into the bedroom is a big NO. Cool apartment! Fancy stove and microwave! Love that kitchen! The LED under mount lights are always a nice touch.
My sister use to live in Astoria, pretty sweet. Bit further north from you are, but there's a Jackson Hole nearby. Those burgers, onion rings & ranch sauce!!!!
It’s a beautiful place for sure but I still can’t get over anyone wanting to buy a one bedroom apartment for 400,000....you can get a very very fancy detached home in many other places ...I know location is important to people everyone has to make their choices but it just seems crazy ....
