Wow, this video is so well-researched and made! I love the little bit of film school you get in every single one from StudioBinder. By the way, the editor is a BOSS!
Great video! It helped me understand this angle a while lot better but I do wish that you went in depth about how the low angle is used with Villains like in the other Studio Binder video "ultimate guide to types of camera angles" he used Mustafa from The Lion King as an example

At the time, there wasn't a consistent frame rate. In fact, they may have still been using hand-cranked cameras (the camera operators often had metronomes ticking nearby to help them keep a consistent speed. Frame rates weren't standardized until the introduction of synch sound in the late '20s (and even then, it took a little while for everything to coalesce around 24fps)
oh, man, you're so right. I looked at this again to see what you were talking about... and yes, this was the day my mustache went entirely out of control (it's even worse on one of the other videos...), and I had left the wax at home. I've learned my lesson since then, and always bring a tin of mustache wax to set!
Why you guys never answer questions on instagram? I've asked several time about which app do you guys use to get the color pallet but nobody ever answered me. So disappointed on you guys!
What are your favorite low angle shots (of all time)? Let us know!

The first time someone pointed that out, I was in college and had long hair... and looked exactly like Scorsese circa "Taxi Driver". It was weird.

Sorry about that! We don't use an app to do the color palettes - we make those from scratch!
