Thanks for the video guys!! We have hackberry here, I have burned some!! Not bad firewood but it can be tough to split with a maul(stringy)!! Another characteristic is it needs to be topcovered or put in a drying shed, it sure can’t take being wet a lot, it will go punky fast!! I can see it being a good burning wood mixed with hedge for sure!! Take care from Kentucky👋☺️

Thank You! We can only get a couple of years out of it before it starts to go bad here.
Hackberry is a little stringy to split but is a great companion for my hedge. It all makes heat!
