You know, it occurs to me that maybe the game would have turned out differently if Yu had started out this way and they reacted appropriately to it. They could notice you're showing the signs of a breakdown, they all focus on helping you, the man is too distracted by an actually interesting development in testing that is otherwise excruciatingly boring, so he can't drink his mimic face sucking coffee. This truly is the best way to play! You save the day by behaving absolutely ridiculously and setting up your flat in the lift! Hooray!

Not expecting it to have a line "why did you decide to drag everything you could carry into the elevator", but it might have a general comment about how long you were there or how you rearranged things, etc.

Was there a new breakthrough in the Amnesia problem?) 8:10- begins moving stuff from her room to the elevator. 8:20- Stips copper out of walls, SOMEHOW doesn't break the simulation. (Note: Call repair men after next reset.) 8:30- Extreme paranoia sets in, accuses left shoe of being a mimic. 8:40- Accuses EVERYTHING of being a mimic, throws left shoe at repair woman. Provlceeds to steal her light and add it to the pile. END RESULT, ANALYSIS: Wipe her mind, cancel the experiments, and thro her in the loony bin. We're shutting Talos 1 down.
What if Mimics aren't actually aliens? I bet you they are secretly all the Dittos from Pokemon Go that we could never find. After years of hiding and watching their brethren get stuffed into small balls and beat each other to the point of passing out, they are now ready to exact their revenge.
