Seventh tap has quickly become one of my favorite Louisiana breweries. They do great IPAs and great lagers. Not many doing both. Usually one or the other.
I wish more reviewers were more honest with reviews on beer, like you. I feel like way too many beers are rated lower online than they should because of bias opinions or stereo types on a specific style of beer. And of course sometimes rated higher than they should, also nice review this is my favorite channel to watch beer reviews.
Good beer review, I do enjoy Lager brews, its my every day brew. But I also enjoy Porters, New England Juice bombs, Stouts, Wheat Beers, and IPA brews. Cheers from Taxachusetts .
Weihenstephaner Festbier! Rockin' one right now. The "world's oldest brewery" shows conclusively how it's done. VERY close to a perfect example of the Festbier style.
When you can get a cold refreshing...crisp lager...with notes of grass and green apple...and endless summer days....pair it with a beef dip with au jus and horseradish or hot mustard....poured from a tap....now that is a game changer. Hot wings is another good pair.
Looks and sounds pretty decent to me. Despite their resurgence in popularity with craft beer outfits, lagers generally do not receive a ton of love + respect within certain circles of the USA beer drinking crowd. That said, I very much enjoy a good lager .. especially in the summertime & warm weather.
We don't need lagers in 16 oz can 4 packs. Microbreweries need to take note. Put that stuff in 12 oz 6 packs. You mentioned Sam Adams Hoppy Lager, that was in their fall variety pack last year and it didnt come back for this year.

I agree!

Yes, I believe you're right. Thanks!

Cheers, back to you!
Love chief wahoo! Mariner's fan 😉
Me, too, and the Mariners at Texans was the first MLB game I ever attended in 2000. Thanks for watching, Chas. I appreciate it!

It's wonderful!

Too much green apple could be an issue with acetaldehyde in the beer. A minimal amount is acceptable in lagers.
I can't argue with that! Thanks for watching, MG9009. I appreciate it!
That cap has been outlawed haha
Ha-ha. Right!

It is, and I agree with you on the general acceptance of lager, with some factions.
Is that the Brood? What a racket! Speaking off-topic, whatever happened to that cat?
Orangey disappeared in January, 2023.

I agree with you about that.
I like it. 16oz is a more suitable serving size for a lager.
