A listener writes “Hi Wes, I had an encounter in 1979-1980 in Goshen, Virginia. We were at the Boy Scout Camp and got up early to try and see deer. I lived outside of Washington, D.C. so catching sight of a deer would have been a highlight for a young kid.
As we walked through the woods near our cabins, there was a thick morning fog. We were being lead by one of the Scout leaders, it was a small group of maybe four or five people. As we walked along for maybe 10 minutes, I felt that there was another person or group with us. It was not the feeling of being watched but more like we were walking along two parallel paths in the woods. I recall hearing the irregular sound of sticks cracking etc. I wasn’t familiar with these particular woods so I wouldn’t know what was normal or unusual.
As we stopped to look at some tracks, I recall looking into the woods and seeing something but not seeing it. It was as if something (a man-like creature) was standing flush against the trees.. I would say 30 yards away. The fog had disappeared but there was a light drizzle and it was overcast. He didn’t seem to be hiding it was more as if he was waiting patiently for us to continue down the path. It seemed as if his silhouette was being absorbed by the tree. As I reflect, It seemed to me that the creature felt certain it was hidden -nearly invisible so it wasn’t trying to hide.
An interesting point I just recalled. We smelled skunk. I imagined Peppy La Pew and we were laughing about the smell. In retrospect, skunks are nocturnal animals and we didn’t see a skunk but the odor was everywhere that morning. I decided to write you after I read today’s NY Times article about animals who have an adaptation that absorbs more than 99.9% of the light. I wonder if this is an evolutionary trait available to some bigfoot?”
I spoke to the witness and he also shared a story of a childhood friend named Robert. It was an amazing encounter and I asked him to share it on the show.

Robert is what they calll a sensitive. He is aware of things that other people can't sense or see. The boy that drowned came to him because he knew Robert could see him, and he wanted to say goodbye to his friend. It's a gift.
Never stop making these, I’m spending months catching up on all the Episodes. Absolutely insane stories and I love it, I listen all day at work.
I do the same exact thing reminds me of radio when I was a kid.

Boy. We just don't know enough about this life we are living...what a weird trip we are all on.. great presentation
One story my mom has recounted was when she was a child, she recalled helping her mother hang clothes on the line in the backyard when she saw a bright light in the sky in her peripheral vision. She didn't think much of it, and thought it was an airplane, as many commercial planes in the 50's were bare, unpainted metal. She would learn the next day or so that her great grandmother had died that day. When the light had appeared, her mom (my grandmother) had seen it as well, and when she looked up to figure out the source, she heard a voice say "Tell June and the girls that I have to go, but I'll see them again soon". When the news of the passing came, she was told that was her last words.
I think that is a gift, not everyone has that ability and i believe Robert came back to say Goodbye to you, that is an AWESOME gift.

I am always fascinated by stories like the one Robert tells about his childhood.
It is always fascinating how someone can see those who have left us, so full that you think they are there with you.
In my own experience, I only see their shadow form, which makes me think of them before I get the sad news within 24 hours.

This is my absolute favorite episode ypu have done , hit so clise to my experience. I love that people are talking about this because i keep quiet unless i really love and trust the person because ppl dont generally unstand which i get.
I enjoy the Sasquatch topic a lot but when Wes has someone on the show specifically talking about their bizarre shadow ppl and ghost encounters, inter-dimensional travel, and spook lights the size of basketballs and dog man and other strange phenomena in the woods, religion and demons, etc..these sessions are the most interesting and fascinating ones. I find myself glued to the channel wanting more and more.
X-files I guess the truth is out there lol. I wish Wes can have the power to debunk a lot of these encounters in future so we can possibly gain some sort of knowledge of what’s really going on in our lifetimes. The mystery is insane and takes your brain and intellect to another level of thinking and pondering 🤔

I agree... Very well put! I've never experienced anything and I hope I never do. Maybe that's being cowardly but I'll take that over being traumatized for life! But I sure as heck believe these people who have! Fascinating, weird, frightening, and everything in between! From the sidelines, can't get enough of these encounters! I'm good though knowing other people experience the strange and bizarre....

When your sees spirits, its because they want you to see them , & when you are at a house that has lots of spirits, you will feel that energy no matter what.
From what I understand or believe is that your body is naturally designed to feel and sense danger or strangeness. I've always had that feeling before something has happened. My sister and I felt it and ignored it before we heard and seen a white sasquatch when I was 13 years old.
The brother needs to know that Rbt visit was exactly as he wanted it. He wanted to say his goodbye to your bro through you. It was not abt being seen by him personally. He should nvr regret. It was just as Rbt wanted it. It was a blessing.
When the man talked about why do some see things and some don't. I always thought I was not like other people. I had experienced alot of my trauma in my youth. I really think the ones I have spoken to who see have experienced trauma in their life. Some way we open our selves up in our youth and their are realms we know nothing about. I witnessed a brutal murder and raped I had came out of my body and I believe I went to a different realm. I see ghost a d dream of people who died and died shortly after the way I dreamed. So I sought Godt out for answers. And I have found we are spiritual beings who live in a container called a body. My life has changed since I am guided how to help people through God
I also believe that God is the answer to many of our questions. It's so sad now a day's how all of our entertainers mock God and their fan's also end up mocking our Lord. God bless 🙏🏾💙

Our ghost would sit in a chair in the corner of my bedroom on stormy nights. I could hear the chair creaking while my brother was snoring in the bunk below me.

You may not ever see it again but I’ll guarantee you it’s with you 100% of the time.. it doesn’t need you to see it for it to feed off of you and manipulate your thoughts. I’m not just saying this and I’m not someone who doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Not tooting my own horn but I know more than most people on TH-cam know. It’s there and it’s tied to you because of the ouija session.

I can relate to a lot that was said here. I'm also an artist and I also have experiences with people on the other side as well as premonitions and "mind reading" kinds of things. It's second nature to me, and no, I'm not schizophrenic. It's just something that I think we all have maybe? A throw back from when we needed it somehow? It ties in with just the general survival instinct that we can feel things we can't see, and that's what helped our ancestors live longer. Because they could "feel" the Saber Tooth tiger behind the rock. Idk.

A few things I have learned, There is power in the name of Jesus, And humans have two super powers, Faith and Intent
That's not my experience with death (twice had to have the heart resuscitated, once had both stopped breathing and lost the heartbeat). I'm not saying everyone will have my experience, but I didn't have a chance to say goodbye, life just winked out.

Great show! At the very end of the vid, I was surprised when you said you consider them to be animals. It made me think if there are possibly two types of these being; one may be more beast than man. Once you have an encounter, your body is tuned in to its frequency.
So that's why you have that strange feeling when you're back out in the area where you had that experience.

Manslaughter can encompass a wide variety of deaths. It could be a reduced down charge that started as Murder 1 or 2 because the dude shot somebody. Or it could be vehicular and a total accident, meaning he had no intention whatsoever of harming anyone. He just demonstrated some culpability in his actions. IE, he was intoxicated, driving distracted, etc.

I have seen many weird things in the forest. Think about what pavement looks like when your driving, and it's hot. It looks like a shimmer. We'll that's what un named things look like in the treed when they move. It's like camouflage for them, but you can see it move, and what shape it is. Think of predator the movie, same thing.

.you get a discombobulated feeling like you are out of yourself..your heart races..not just like after a run either..no were talking about a extremely fast rate 160 plus..my blood pressure went soaring to 220 over 160 when it happened once at a out patient clinic at hospital .And you'd never know as I sit there looking normal .no noise etc
.Also it can just come on without any reason,mine is more than often not reactionary...Oh another symptom is you get drenched with sweat..mine gets where water actually drips onto my arms or legs..I totally recognize what he's saying here as a total anxiety attack..The best treatment is to just let it wash over you and then I find it will pass within 5 to 10 minutes..but 5 mins of it seems like 5 hours

I lived in Philly all my life. My grandmother and grandfather were laid out on their couch she was there for 3 days, and it was normal. But going downstairs to get a glass of at 3 in the morning was a little well. You know. But when I was young, that's how it was done by the Irish they would sit around her drinking and telling us stories we never knew it might be why funerals dont bother me if they were good people I know where they are going.
The human consciousness is experiencing an evolutionary change. An "awakening" we're going to be experiencing a lot more that's out of our normal life experience and perception. Don't take my word for it. Just wait and watch!
When I was young, I lived in Philly, and when we were kids, when someone died, they would lay you on the own couch for the viewing theh would be on the couch for f 2 days until the the day of the funeral
I've been an exorcist and l can't tell you how many times I've been to deal with possessed homes and children, because of Dungeons and Dragons. The story is always the same, "we just don't understand Johnny's behavior, he's so dark and barely speaks, he was such a normal kid then suddenly he changed. " My next question was, "is he playing any video games?" I already knew the answer, "just that silly dragon game, he's always playing it. " was the usual answer. I would ask for the game book and tell the parents to open it to the spells chapter. I would watch as they're jaws dropped open, then the fear and realization dawned on their faces. In some homes, large teenage boys were tearing the doors off and smashing the walls by the time l was called. The demons always hid from me, l would have to call them out, sometimes from a place or from inside the child. They knew me and knew Jesus would cast them into the abyss when l called upon him. This man needs to ask Jesus into his life and ask to be set free of his bondage, he made a deal with the demons playing that game and using the spells. That game is responsible for demonic possession going viral worldwide. PRAYER "I denounce any and all demonic claims being made by my relating this information. I do not glorify or highlight their existence, May Jesus destroy any demon who thinks this serves them, in our lords holy name l pray this."
As a Christian, I believe in my Father the creator of all. There are Angel's and there are demons. We can entertain Angel's unaware. They can come in human form. Demons can possess a human only if that person cracks a door to enter by many different ways. Angelic or demonic.

Things come in unbidden sometimes you don’t have to call them into your life or home in my experience and those of others I know who have had experiences they can’t explain.
I believe that some people have this feeling where they to come back wether go are bad. They have the gift to come some are good or bad. Just like in life. There some very good and some very bad. And yes u have that feeling or dread or feeling scared. And u have chance to look at there eyes u know right away. Like he said it's like there eyes are very black no life or maybe even death. A person can see a neg vision bc they have negativity/turmoil flowing through them. U may not think u r lacking positivity, but if u were to access, u would say u were not happy. My grandmother saw visions, her dau, my mom saw ghosts, some passed to me. I knew when two ppl were going to die. Saw ppl post death, reconnected prior to death, saw a neg spirit. This man’s bro didn’t see his friends spirit bc he doesn’t have the connection and his seeing would have been traumatic. U were meant to pass on the message. I saw my hus parents at diff times post death and passed it to him.

Fast forward the intro... thats what I do. It was funny and cool the first 50 times, and it's still an attention getting intro, but once youre hooked on the show, ya gotta get right to the meat and potatoes and see what kind of guest will be talking. I've seen enough to know there's something to this, I've seen things,heard things from trusted people but it has never been any kind of mind speak or camo or portals in our neck of the woods. Think that's why there's such a divide about the subject, has to be different things. I've been in the presence of evil,felt the fear and knew without a doubt I was dealing with some weird mystical shit but I got nothing like that out of my experience with this in the woods,totally animal like behavior, plain and simple. Scary but not spiritual kind of stuff. Plenty of folks see them and never experience anything like that. I'm not saying it doesn't happen but it's not the same across the board.

Is it possible that we (humans) are programmed to recognise things that fall within recognised parameters, i.e. humans are up to six feet in height, therefore even if we see something that is eight foot plus, ten/twelve feet etc. don't see what we were actually looking at because our brain says ,"No, don't know that" brain discounts it, (does not compute). And if they reflect light, and have the ability to keep extremely still, so our brains tell our eyes that we see nothing, so we ignore it and move on. If they decide to smell in our direction, it could be defensive or to MESS WITH OUR HEADS. They, after all, know they are the biggest thing in the woods. Other than secrecy, why should they care. Or there are the people that go immediately into denial if they see something that their brain tells them, doesn't or shouldn't exist, through religious beliefs or ignorance.
In a paranormal unwanted visitation call on the name of "JESUS CHRIST" and it will flee! All these things are not of GOD and despise the name of "JESUS"! GOD BLESS YOU!!🙋☺️💗🙏
