So emotional. I grew up without a father and I feel that my mom did the best with me. My dad went on to marry and have kids and my half sisters came to find me after his passing. They always tell me that I was better off, that I missed nothing from not having a father. I"ve learned that sometimes it's God shielding us from things that could potentially damage us in a long run. Alwande is enough and she's growing into a wonderful human being and her not having a father might just be the best thing for her...God's bigger picture for her life❤️❤️❤️ love this mommy daughter relationship. You're doing so well Mandy

Alwande is such a great and beautiful girl! She's not afraid to express herself, she has so much respect, she loves so hard I see that by just how she doesn't want to see her mom hurt or anything of that sort, the hugs, the affirmation. She has a great personality, thinks things through and goes over her emotions and the best part is that she doesn't accept defeat! You have done a great job in raising her 👏
I have just started watching this channel yesterday and I am glued!!
If only these men knew what "damage" they're causing in our lives and the lives of their children, but hey it is what it is.
Thinking of my two fatherless children I just got so emotional throughout, we really need to have these conversations with our children bc they need to be able to feel free to let us know how certain situations make them feel and so forth. Thankyou for this, truly inspired ♥️

Aww baby 🥺🥺, Alwande you are such an amazing girl! Please know that you are not alone, a lot of us grew up this very same way, without our fathers but I want you to know that our lives have come full circle without them. You are a great person, beautiful, intelligent and I love how self aware you are! You will have a great life, with your mom’s support you are going to smash your goals, and you will be successful!
To mom, I love this conversation you are having with Alwande, it’s so important that we do this. Also keep affirming Alwande, it may seem like it’s not working right now but there comes a time when you reach your young adulthood and everything starts to make so much sense, it literally dawns on you and all these words you are saying now will play in her head and will have more meaning than they ever did before! 🌺🌺

I am not a parent yet, but i am taking notes on how to be intentionally present for my kids the way you continuously are Mandy ❤. You are raising such strong beautiful girls and the best part is that they don''t always HAVE to be strong. Vulnerability, honesty and FEELING the ups and downs of life aren't such a bad thing and that is something a lot of us are only learning this now in our 20s.
    Incredibly inspirational 🌻🌻

This was such a wonderful video! I will definitely do this with my children. After my bio children were adults, I adopted my grandson when my middle daughter passed away then 6 months later I adopted my 2 great neices. Seven months after we finalized the girls adoption my husband passed away so now I'm a single parent of 3 emotionally scarred children. I think this exercise will help tear down some walls and build some trust.

This video triggered a lot of emotions that time I was not even half-watching the video. IN my 23 years of existence I've never used the word ''' DAD/BABA''. At first, I felt like Lwande, Speaking about him made me cry ALOT but when I saw how my mother worked hard to get me everything I wanted and needed. I stopped doubting gods plan. Lwande will grow to be a stronger person because of this situation. Trust and believe.

Hey I just discovered your Channel yesterday and Wow..I am a young Single Mom to a beautiful 7 month Old.I still cannot recover from what her Father and his Family did.Rejecting her and not even checking up on her, after I had suffered in a R.Ship with her Father due to his infedilities,Abuse and his absence. She is growing up but each day I'm Scared that 'that Conversation ' will come soon about her Father and the Family.I really want to protect her from the Truth but I will have to tell her everything so to see such a Channel in a Way it prepares me and makes me stronger.I love you,may God be with you and your Family.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Its not everyday you see such because we are programmed to think that Single Mothers are are left overs, they couldn't keep a man etc.....So ke a leboga Mme...THIS Really INSPIRED ME❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Your response to “What makes you happy”👌🏾 I share the same sentiments because money gives you freedom to do all the other things that make you happy also... it’s truly hard to parent when you don’t have money, most parents would do better if money wasn’t an issue, I think.

Alwandle, you are such a charming, well spoken young lady and I can tell you are also a very respectful kid. Unfortunately we can say all the words to try soothe the pain of his wrongdoings. But I know that one day and I pray it is soon, you are going to heal and we get to see your full confident self. You are amazing ⚘️ ♥️

I like that Alwande has a father figure kubab'wakho. The way she explains her happiest and best childhood memories being with your dad teaching her how to drive and how to play soccer. I love that. I personally don't have a relationship with my biological dad. I have fond memories of my stepdad who passed on when I was in my 1st year in varsity. That man loved me and I can say he filled that void of a dad.

Your earthly father may not want you but God is your heavenly Father and he cares for you deeply. You are ENOUGH. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. I pray that Alwande's dad sees the error of his ways and does right by you some day. Millennium Mom, you are doing great. I pray that God co tinues to give you the strength and wisdom to continue steering the souls He has entrusted you with in the right direction.

As much as we love your mum’s content, she’s amazing and you just bring a nice youthful touch to it. I really love seeing your smile, seeing you play with your baby sister and seeing you laugh it just makes my day. I say things as an older sister you are most definitely enough not for your biological family but also for your new family which is us. Trust me girl you more loved and appreciated then you can ever think ❤
To Alwande’s mummy you are such an amazing mother I always look at how you listen to your children, connect with them and always be there for them even when you not okay that’s pure strength right there ❤you guys are really amazing and I just love seeing you guys so happy and despite all the challenges you may face you know how to wear a smile on your face and create all this lovely content you a wonder, never forget that ❤❤❤

I literally came upon your channel this morning and I'm loving your content, it's so real and emotional and vulnerable. I believe it's relatable to a lot of us (I don't have kids but I've had to take on a lot of responsibility with my siblings). Anyway just saying I love your content please do continue

I am trying so hard not to use hateful or distasteful language to call or describe Alwande’s dad, lest Alwande reads this comment…
But I hope her dad can watch this video and I hope something inside him moves for this baby girl. You are phenomenal baby girl ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I started watching your videos today and I'm already in love with your channel❤... I really love your bond with Alwande😊Its not everyday that you see a parent and child being open to each other.. The transparency between you guys is just beautiful❤.. May God continue helping you and blessing you😊❤... To Alwande: Always remember that God will always be your father❤

I also experienced abandonment, I actually don’t like Father’s Day as well. Unfortunately, it’s a wound that will be there forever you just need to navigate around it and attend therapy. The rejection issue and abandonment also contributed so much to my behaviour. Being more masculine and being the independent woman behaviour and not fully trusting man that genuinely want to love me and support me.
Mommy, please make sure she attends therapy when she hits 20. There’s a lot that will need to be unpacked. (Talking from my personal experience).

Not me getting emotional with Alwande. Nxe that deadbeat doesn't deserve her. She's such a lovely young lady. And she's absolutely more than enough. I'm glad you keep reiterating it. ❤Well done to you mama. Especially on having such difficult conversations and that she doesn't bottle it up imudle eyedwa. 🤗. She's articulate and well spoken. I love how she's able to process her thought and communicate how she feels.

Coming across this relatable video was overwhelming. I'm new here yes but it felt like I've been here forever. I felt the pain 😪 in Alwande about her father's absence. Babe u are an amazing child& know that the people ❤ that are around you now God has put them there for a SOLID reason& for those that chosed not to be there..they were just not meant to be part of your upbringing beautiful ANGEL.Babazi ❤ was meant to care for u,love u,instilling those remarkable precious memories u have and he did more than being a FATHER figure. He loved u genuinely. Your Mom was set to be everything to you guys because she can big ups to you Mom
