@user-wt8bc6mc4j That's partially true, but our school systems don't teach kids how to study. The same goes for parents in the US. The US school system is every kid for themselves, and if you need help studying you have to find a kid of similar abilities to work with. You can't even ask your parents for help since most parents in the US don't even know how to do fractions, lol. And if they place you in a sped class you're even more screwed, they're just going to have you sitting in a segregated room for 5 hours a day, doing nothing but counting to 10 multiple times. Honestly the US would be better off if they cut their sped programs.
Thank you so much for your knowledge its really helpful

I passed my math final with your channel. Thanks bro XD💕
Thank you for always saving my ass when it comes to science and math
Now do this without a calculator, multiple times, in under 2 minutes per problem Mwahaha! ...welcome to Missouri S&T
there's no way you can solve that w/out calcu in just 2 mins

How can you tell whether a question is talking about compound interest or simple interest? Got any tips/tricks/secret behind it pls Sir?
like "compounded" or phrases related to time periods and formulas for compound interest, while keywords like "simple interest" or "flat interest rate" typically indicate questions about simple interest.
For the sake of the students. On the last problem for fixed interest the formula you use is incorrect! Fixed interest is A=P(1+rt). The variable n=number of times interest is compounded in a year. You should come to 2=1+.06t. Finalizing at 16.6666667 years.
Be on the look out for FIXED vs COMPOUND two very similar but different formulas.
Thank you so much

Helpful, but still need some explanations on the nontabulated interests if One has advance payment 0f say $1220 recovery= $152.5 at 4.5% quarter yearly interest and 8.25 yearly payments? P=1003 , how is this result calculated?
thanks i knew the formula forgot how to do math lol
wow ur brain processing is 000%
True. But you didn‘t touch continuous compounding unlike in your video 3 years ago. You could have derived „e“ ( Euler‘s number) by the compound interest formula as you of course perfectly know. And I think I‘m not quite conform with the vid from 3 years ago. If A = P ( 1+r)^rt and A =Pe^Rt then with b = 1+r the term e^R has to be equal to b. I don‘t think that r and R will coincide exactly. Suppose b = 1.10 then e^0.0953= 1.100xyz ~ b. So R= .0953 = ln 1.1 and not r= .1. This is not to blame you, on the contrary I think you‘re really great in natural sciences and that many people enjoy your absolutely charming voice and style of educating this stuff. Keep on!
love your channel... thank you very much. i have a question... what formula can i use to know the price increase on electric bills? example utility bills have an increase of 4% on average annually. So if a home owner is paying .13 cents per kwh and consumes 2500kwh per year... what would the price per kwh be in 25 years from now? thanks !!!!
HE IS SUS HE DOESN'T REPLIES I ALSO ASKED HIM A QUESTION BUT HE DIDN'T REPLIED.HE IS SUS TODAY 1 YEAR REACHED WHEN I ASKED HIM A QUESTION.I HAVE TO SAY THAT HE IS SUS😠😠😠
I know your comment is years old but it has multiple likes and no replies. So in case anyone else is wondering you would take the starting amount ( .13 in this case) and multiply it by 1.04 (1.00 represents the original amount and .04 represents the 4% annual increase) raised to the 24th power (^24 and not ^25 because the year 1 starting power is itself).
So the equation would be .13(1.04)^24=.33 kwh

I dont understand how you are doing the math. 5125 raised to the power of 80? I dont get it! Please explain.
This is the exact math problem I’m trying to solve. That’s the part that I don’t understand and no one is explaining it. Did you get any help?
@@michellejones8144 I ended up researching my TI-83 and how to properly plug in powers. When calculating I plug it all in there and find the power. I hope this makes sense. It took a bit to break everything down to figure out the sections. These math videos leave out some important details.
@@jamiedomjan5114 Thank you. As soon as I asked you o looked at another video and the guy gave the magic words. He said to pug them into the calculator according to the formula. It worked. Thank Goodness.
I don't get it either, cause for example if it's 3003.12 to the 2nd power were at 9million! Isn't this how exponents work? 3000 to the 2nd power is 3000 x 3000? So if were dealing with a 4 year term we get 3000 x 3000 x 3000 x 3000?!
@@shannonpowell8066 plug it into the calculator and it was give you the answer.

We can find (t) with points? How please?
Can you please make a video on this math problem. What's the product of 3 2/3 and 14 2/5? In detail if you will.
You just put the same denominator for each of the two parts and then multiply both the numerator and the denominator and simplify
Dude what do you mean? 3 2/3 = 11/3. 14 2/5 = 72/5. Therefore 11/3 × 72/5 = 792/10 = 79.2 .....is this what you mean?

so like don't mind but like you do all kind of math like algebra , indices and like ratios so like don't you ever forget them after a while . for e. g I give you a paper right now with all the questions of maths problems that you made videos own . so will you able to answer those or not ?
What about yearly instead of quarterly or monthly? What wiuld the n be for that?
What would I put down if it said the interest was compounded continuously
HOW DID HE GET THE $2,367.36 BY MULTIPLYING $1,000×0.09
1.09 is raised to the power of 10
The exponents are too big 😭😭😭 is there any easy way to calculate the raise of power??? Or it really needs calculator?
I am taking an exam about this
I know this comment is 5 months ago and the answer is late and you probably know it but maybe for those who don't know the answer for this is yes you need a scientific calculator and to calculate the power is just find the ^ to represent the next number as a power
"If only statesmen had been compelled to study law of the laws of Compound Interest, the fate of the whole human race might have been very different." - William Joyce, "Twilight Over England", 1940
How do you put in to the calculator to the 10th power..?
Just use this √(
Ohh sorry that is not the correct, use this instead^(
Please can you help me by solve the problem with out a calculator,,
If you're raising it to a power of nt, you're ending up with an astronomical amount. Like 3000 raised to the 2nd power alone is 9million. So how the hell you calculating that?
A graphing calculator
You’re only raising the (1.09) term

How did you get the amount of 36,o47.84 if your going to rise to the power of 80 multiply that with 1.025? How did you get it?
On the calculator, first put (1.025) in () then raise to power 80
Press =
Then answer you got
Multiply it with 5000
Try again
Tell me what u get
U should get same answer
I tried it and it works
sir it is good explanation but n stands for what?
n = how many times it is being compounded per year
if "n" is being compounded quarterly then it is being compounded 4 times per year, hence it being n=4
but if "n" is compounded weekly there are 52 weeks in a year which means it will be compounded 52 times so n = 52 since "n" represents how many times it is being compounded per year.
Hope this helps :D
What if it’s compounded monthly?
@royzaragosa8671what about yearly?
@royzaragosa8671 Thank you.
Is quarterly not every three months as in 1/4th of a year
Since it is one fourth it is four. If it was half yearly it would be one half that would be 1/2 so it would be 2
If we have simple interest formula, why would we need compound interest formula? can someone explain to me?
Because Compound Interest represents money growing Exponentially with respect to time while Simple Interest is Linear
What was n?
1
If the question has annually then the n is 1
How is n=4!????
You have to keep in mind that to find N
is reading the question carefully
if the question consists "Anually" then your N will be 1
If it's Quarterly your N will be 4
If it's Monthly then your N will be 12.
But maybe you have already learned since it's already been 3 weeks
n = how many times it is being compounded per year
if "n" is being compounded quarterly then it is being compounded 4 times per year, hence it being n=4
but if "n" is compounded weekly there are 52 weeks in a year which means it will be compounded 52 times so n = 52 since "n" represents how many times it is being compounded per year.
Hope this helps :D
