Great video mate. Understand your frustration and worries as I have just got a mk3 ST which has bonnet vents installed and I’m worried about water saturating my open air filter and that’s before I even get a full induction kit!
I have bonnet vents. I may sound daft but my solution that works for me in bad weather I simply use the foam carpet thing that originally comes on the car mine sits there 5 days a week and it actually doesn't soak through the water just deflects above the headlight leaving the engine bay dry I take it off in hot or warmer weather been doing it 2 years no issues with rusting under the bonnet or anything

Good idea.... still have that..
Are the vents already meshed up or does nick (vented) put them on? As they look shocking
That's more water than I'd be comfortable with especially on the air filter and fuse box
Yep.. but I have a solution and doesnt involve me welding the cut outs back on...
I have a custom made autonatior plale that protects it from water
Might need to do something like that.... 👍
just get a water proof air filter sock, problem solved.
I'd use a glue gun or get gorilla glue on it would be a much better fix
Mate no offence but WRC vents on sides are useless and look terible like your ring, other mods quite good
Thanks victor....
@@lordeest Keep working on :) Because of you I will know a bit before I do :)
