Sal, I've been watching your videos since high school, I am in college now and I don't understand a damn thing my teachers teach at school, they're really fast when teaching for they expect the students to know stuff already as they teach. I go home without understanding anything, and I open my laptop and study by watching your videos. I watch all night. I just want to say thank you, for being my professor, for making me understand hard concepts, for making everything simpler, for teaching Calculus, and Chemistry, and this - Biology. Thank you for saving my ass.
I look through these comments and I have trouble finding anything thats not a thank you... never seen a video like this... so let me continue the chain of gratitude.... Thank you SO MUCH!! :DDDDD
Changing my career mid life to be a Clinical Nutritionist and I know nothing about Biology. My lecturers are speaking in “Hieroglyphics” and the pace is so fast. I’m so grateful to have found your videos. I’d be completely lost. 🤫🥰
I'm watching this video to help my wife with her studies and now I think I've learnt more from this video than she has from hours if lessions! Thanks for the lesson!
I dont know what I would do without your videos that actually teach me the tough topics that we are supposed to "learn in class" !!!!! I can memorize anything---but you actually get me to UNDERSTAND. YOU are a true TEACHER!!! I just love you!!... in a very student teacher kinda way :)))
I get soooo confused in class and sometimes it may take a while when the teacher is trying to answer my question, which can confuse me more. But with you, I understand and don't have any question, not understanding why. You are very clear and to the point. Sometimes I feel like I am just in class for attendance, but come to you with my textbook for learning. Thank you!!!
over the past 3 or 4 years i've probably wathced this video 20-30 times in order to refresh my memory before more diving into more complex bio and I love it because its always so clear thank you!
Take a shot every time he says "endoplasmic reticulum" ...also these vidoes are very helpful & will be what gets me through my bio course so thank you.
Wish my professor could break it down like this! This video really helped! I'll be looking for more to get through a&p this summer! Thanks for sharing!
Haha, his funny tone every time he enunciates & repeats terminology. "Endoplasmic Reticulum, Endoo-plaasmic Re-ti-cu-lum... it's fun to say... maybe a good name for a band... Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum, maybe even a better name for a band." Haha, silly, love this dude. He sure makes learning this stuff colorful, fun, & mostly easy to follow - Genius!
I, now 65, can just pick up from where I left it at school. Wish I had a teacher like you and my journey of life has been different. Though my teachers at school much shaped my life.
I have my first test in A&P coming up and this is a huge part of it. I feel like there is hope after watching this. Will continue to watch more. Thank you.
Seeing how my great uncle created this cycle, I decided I should respect him by memorizing and learning this cycle. I learned and memorized this entire cycle within 2 hours. Thanks.
You just taught me the structure of a cell in 20 minutes... something my professor has been trying to do for two weeks now. Thank you! You explain wonderfully!
19:29 I love it when Sal just says random facts like this (wood has 2 cell walls). About an hour before watching this vid I was literally just thinking about why wood is so hard haha.
It's been 10yrs since my original physiology studies. I was nervous taking a graduate course online as a refresher to my doctorate program, but Khahn Academy has been amazingly!
Very helpful video! Thanks for clarifying all of the parts of the cell. I was in biology class and I guess it was just too early in the morning, but I couldn't understand this to save my life Haha
OMG, thank you so much! I have a hard time understanding my professor's thick Texan accent. I came to TH-cam for help getting ready for my test and this video was such a relief. You're amazing! Thank you!
I have a major exam tomorrow in life sciences and I have to remember the parts of the cell! And omg this video is a life saver! I’m studying like a crazy person! Haha thank you for the knowledge!
Mr. Khan, you rule! I've been watching your videos these past days to have a better understanding about these subjects since I have Finals coming up. I can say that I might actually ace my bio final. Thanks to you!
you explained things so much better than my biology teacher, i struggled with concepts of biology before but now i finally understand it, thank you, you have litterally saved my a level!!! :)
thak you khan. your the best. if my professors knew how to teach like you i would of had my degree by now. we need teachers like you. i understood everything about the cell from watching your video.

After many many years I understand the Cell............Big Clause for me please. Such a beautiful explanation no confusion from first circle till my graduation.....Thanks and love you.
Usually when I listen to a lecture or something I am asking myself questions through the whole thing without them being answered, but as I watched your video you answered pretty much every one I had.
Wow, a lot of people are getting help from this. I feel a bit inferior for only being 12 and in seventh grade, but this really helped me, and I feel sooooo confident for the quiz tomorrow thank you so much man.
For some reason I've never known that the nucleus was a membrane.. it makes so much more sense now! I've taken biology and genetics in high school, and even Biology 101 and, probably to my own fault of inattention, have never heard that... it's so much easier to understand it now!
sal thank u i found ur videos about 10 years ago im 36 now and when when ever i need to really understand something i go to the khan app or find ur videos on utube

omg, I love your videos, these videos have really helped me with grades, teachers talk way to fast when they talk and it's so confusing but this has really helped me and I just want to say thank you! donating now!
