Paula is a force. I always enjoy hearing her perspective. Never quit, your voice liberates the voices of others.

Great chat. Really interesting about the psychological effect of lockdowns. It changed people. I’ve always seen trans and covid as very intertwined. Both separate you from trusting your own body…ie you can be in the wrong body and for the other, your immune system is pretty much useless and you need outside intervention. Perhaps that sounds conspiratorial, but my gut screams it. Both issues are profoundly psychologically abusive. And both demand an unquestioning compliance and result in total control. Well done for speaking out!! Greetings from a very woke Ireland ☘️

You quit. It's that simple. You don't negotiate. You don't file a complaint. You don't take a stand. You don't go public. You recognize that your boundaries and values are being violated and so you end the relationship.

@@MartyH99 There is nothing to win. We live in a society where this sort of thing is being normalized. Think over the last 50 years or so. We have gone from traditional marriage to anything goes - anything. Divorce, promiscuity, abortion, etc. If you want to live differently then you are going to have to separate yourself.

I have only just started listening to this interview, but I don't understand your logic. Only quitting without being very public and matter-of-fact about it to EVERYONE around is pointless. It also breeds resentment because no one asks why or cares..... but speaking up makes the difference and plants seeds for later, and creates public knowledge, not rumors.
Always be public when quitting situations like this. Never be quiet. Always print a paper record and statement and hand it in. It doesn't matter if it doesn't seem to do anything in the moment, but it creates a record, paper trail, and releases the person from blame for future incidents, and bitterness for being silent. Always make a record and statement, always. Trust me, I know. I've been through some serious harassment and threats that caused me to quit something I loved. And I presented a written record of it and stated to people in a matter-of-fact way what was wrong. Then, left. And those words took action after I left, and cleaned up a mess. Always create a record in written and spoken words. It gets the ball rolling for other records to begin accruing.

Never apologise and never give in. There are times when the only way to win, is to fight.

      @@rosafalls8068 I get your point.
What I am saying is that America (and the Western world) is over as you and I know it. The concepts you and I grew up with like a Judeo-Christian moral framework are over. The culture war has been lost. From here on in there will be an increasing slide into woke nonsense.
People who see this garbage for what it is need to pull back from the culture. As an example. Say you have a high school aged son. You know college and the corporate work environment are going to be very hostile to anyone who does not go along with the wok agenda. So, you pull back from the culture by getting your son interested in a trade like electrician, plumber, auto mechanic, etc.
You are going to have to rethink how you are going to exist here. The old ways are gone.
