I wanted to upload the MOST Japanese thing possible. xD So, this is what happened:
I was watching some Kabuki performances recently and became fascinated with them, so I started composing a song (this one), which I named "Kabuki". I then had the idea that it would be amazing as an homage to Japanese art and culture to have everything in this video be actually spelled in Kanji, including the video description. So an amazing guy from Japan and his wife translated everything for me and this is the result! I know it must look very confusing to most of you, I'm sorry for that. xD I had a huge amount of fun though, and if it makes someone out there chuckle or even appreciate it it was completely worth it for me. =)

Nizar, I use Cubase. =) For anything orchestral, ethnic etc. it's the best in my opinion. For electronic music the best program is FL Studio.

USAGE:

It does not give you any rights over the music however, so remixing the music, re-selling it etc. is not allowed.
Giving credits is also necessary in commercial projects.
Please note that "for free" only applies to the usage license. Music is my full-time job and is where 100% of my earnings come from. So no matter what you use my music for, whether it's commercial or non-commercial use, I appreciate that you purchase the music instead of downloading it for free. Many people misunderstand this part so I need to clear this up. I love making music, but if everyone would just get it for free I would not be able to pay rent, so please understand. It was always my dream to make enough money to survive with music being my only job, and that is only possible because of people who go and buy that music.
Remixing, sampling and other forms of altering the original song into a new piece of music is also generally not allowed unless the remix is 100% non-commercial and labelled with the original title and author of the song (me). Adding bird noises, nature sounds or similar things are allowed. Nightcore alterations are also allowed while non-commercial and labelled with original title and author (Google "Nightcore" in case of confusion).
So if your project is non-commercial or a TH-cam project, just give credits and there is nothing holding you back from using my songs. ANY song you want. =) If it's commercial stuff just write me a personal message or an email at adrianvonziegler@gmx.ch and inform me about the scale and details of the project and we'll make a deal.

So cool! Even though it was very amateur, my sister decided to teach herself some Kabuki dancing and recorded herself doing about 2 minutes of it dressed in our grandmother's old kimono and obi, and used an actual fan our great aunt used a long time ago (she actually did professional Kabuki way back when, and even danced the men's role sometimes when playing a character. From what I hear she was really good). It wasn't a full costume but it got the point across, and had a lot of sentimental value considering the history behind all the different pieces. Our grandmother's kimono wasn't a Kabuki kimono, but it did the job. Frustratingly enough the project that my sister did that for ended up getting canceled due to school complications, but her professor gave the students the option of submitting their projects for extra credit if they wanted to, so she ended up doing that in the end. From what I hear he really liked it!
Very random little story, but this piece made me think about it and it made me smile :) This music sounds really similar to what she danced to, only faster in tempo. Keep doing what you're doing, it's beautiful
Wonderfully atmospheric, I love the shifting tension and tone over the course of it, up to the end. Those things really drove home a sense of the track telling a story!

For those curious, Samurai may have had 'more red faces' because the inside of their equipment, specifically their menpos, are traditionally coated in *red* lacquer.

I find myself going back to this video quite regularly, it gives me goosebumps ! I started listening to your music back in 2011, mostly thanks to your Celtic tracks, but as time went by and you released songs inspired by so many cultures I just fell even more in love with your music. My favourite ones from you went from being strictly Celtic/Scandinavian inspired to your Japanese/Roman/Slavic ones. I find the diversity in your music absolutely awesome, thank you for sharing it with us !

الحقيقة ان لا اعرف نوع هذه الموسيقى لكني احب الموسيقى الكلاسيكية و الموسيقى الجميلة بدون صوت بشري في اغلب الاحيان اما ما يتعلق بنا كعرب فهناك من يسمع الموسيقى الهادفة الجميلة من كلاسيكية و غير كلاسيكية لكن كل ما في الموضوع ان اغلب ناشري هذه الموسيقى اجانب و لهذا ستجد اغلب العرب الذين يحبون هذه الموسيقى يبحثون بواسطة اللغة الانكليزية و بما ان بعضهم يستخدم اسماء انكليزية كاسم لحسابه (كما تفعل انت سيدي العزيز)
