Was someone holding the seat folded up while you threaded the seat belt? I see the video was intentionally framed to not show that. Please be honest if it is difficult for a single person to install it since there is unlikely for some magic fairy to be standing behind to hold it up like it did in this video. 4:30
Hi! Thanks for the comments. There was an additional person holding up a portion of the car seat, but that was only done so that the camera could get a clear shot of the installation. While a single person can install the Poplar car seat by themselves, doing so in this instruction portion would have covered up parts of the car seat we wanted to make sure were visible. We strive to have clear visual instructions to help customers know exactly how to install their car seat without any confusion.
Hi! We review the features of the car seat and the weight and weight capacity at the beginning of the video, with the installation instructions after that.
Thanks for the comment! Here at the Baby Cubby, we always want to ensure our information is accurate when it comes to car seat installation. On page 21 of the Britax Poplar manual, it states the following: "Locking/switching the lap-shoulder belt retractor can be done after you follow the install instructions included herein if desired." Even though the ClickTight can be viewed as a replacement for a locked/switched vehicle belt retractor, we always recommend this extra step to ensure greater safety, unless the manual specifically warns against it. If you have any further questions, feel free to call our store and talk to one of our CPS techs.
@@TheBabyCubby As a CPST this is a bit misleading. "" This statement implies that relying on ClickTight as the only locking mechanism is not 100% safe when this is incorrect. The manual actually says withreplaces being the key word. The same logic behind your statement is the same logic that makes caregivers think it's ok to use anchors and seatbelts at the same time. Although the Poplar manual provides the instruction that the seatbelt can be also be locked, this does not apply to every ClickTight seat in Britax's lineup and as CPST's we should be taking the time to educate people on these caveats. Learn Practice its the basis of the curriculum.
Thanks for your feedback. To clarify, we are not implying that the clicktight system is unsafe, just that with this car seat, it is okay to lock the seatbelt off. We always suggest to reference the car seat manual for specific instructions, and are only speaking about the Poplar in this video. Thanks again!
@@jessiec8838I contacted Britax to ask if I can lock my boulevard CT seat because my toddler passenger was playing with the loose seatbelt, they told me it’s okay to soft lock it.. fyi
Would this carseat work ok with Forward Facing on a non detachable headrest car?
During my research, I’ve heard it does not work well with a non-detachable headrest… but I can’t speak from personal experience

is it compact front to back?
Yes!
@@TheBabyCubby How wide is it (front to back) in Read-facing mode with maximum recline? (for a newborn) Thanks!
The title is very misleading, there is no review just an install video….

Why music as background??? Very annoying. You suppose to listen to the review, not listen to the music
This install is incorrect. You are never suppose to lock the seatbelt with ClickTight. It can damage the lock off.
