The ship has been in service for several years, the problem with the severe weathering of the bow logos seems to be a feature of the Equinox class ships. Other much older ships with worse paint seem to have better logos. It may be a decal (sticker) that was bought just for those ships and it just isn't up to the task. @@ontarioshipchasers It's like they leave the ships to rot. I'm near Hamilton and have been to the harbour and whenever the Algoma boats come through they look terrible. Wouldn't this effect the ship's lifespan by thinning out the hull plates?
All Great Lakes freighters have to have a mandatory 5 year inspection and this is always during winter lay up and during this time they will give it a new paint job
