You can tell how dead Kat is over her story line. For her to even say "Thank you guys for shipping Bonnie with ANYONE" honestly sucks. Caroline and Elena pretty much fucked every guy character on TVD and Bonnie only had Jeremy and one filler love interest which was Jamie and he wasn't even cute. It just sucks. How is Klaus and Damon redeemable after all the people they killed. Damon electively killed Jeremy several times and Elena still found him worthy and even dumped Stefan's noble ass for Damon. Honestly, Bonkai as a romantic couple was always a terrible and unrealistic idea for many reasons, but much respect to these two actors for thanking fans for being so invested in their characters. It shows that they care. Whether they truly bought into the Bonkai romance or not, they both addressed the topic it in a way that was respectful and considerate of the fans, and that's what's important.

Look at Bonnie and Damon, Damon nearly killed Bonnie in season 1, he intimidated her, frightened her and she hated him and now they're quite chummy. I deff would not expect or want Bonnie to forgive or even tolerate Kai so soon but if Plec gave even an ounce of care with them like she does with other ships concerning Caroline or Elena, they could have been great, like a badass witch couple or something. Like Kat said, 'it's the TVD anything could happen'.
Okay, I wrote way too much, I'll stop now.
And this is where you jump to conclusions because I'm in fact a Kai lover. I loved how twisted and messed up he was BUT that doesn't justify his actions. I stand by what I said. He tried to kill Bonnie. He was sick and she was his prey. He enjoys the chase but in the end, Bonnie would've ended up dead. He doesn't (or didn't now that he merged with his bro) feel anything. He doesn't have a conscious. [I'm not educated in sociopathy but I don't think his environment caused this personality disorder.] He's one of the best villains on tvd. What I DON'T like is how people try to pair him up with Bonnie after everything he's done to her. He's irredeemable when it comes to a relationship with her. SHE even said what she felt towards him. Like I said before, she was on the brink of committing suicide mostly BECAUSE of him. So no, no one is "hating" on Kai. I'm "hating" on BonKai. Bonnie is my heart and my favorite. She deserves someone who deserves her.
