    Been following Traction since late-2016, we run our leadership meetings exactly like this every Monday at 10am. I have to say, the tools in Traction have revolutionized our business. We went from a life-style business to a professional organization, we've grown 3x in size in 3 years!

    My organization is small, only 2 leaders. At what point do we begin to implement this meeting cadence? There aren't departments or trans per se

    • @EOSWorldwide
      @EOSWorldwide  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question! Implementing Level 10 Meetings™ is one of the first things you should do as it's something that is a pillar in rolling out EOS® as a whole. You will grow and having this meeting cadence in place will make the integration process of future leadership much smoother.

    • @NickalusNicoJohnson
      @NickalusNicoJohnson 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EOSWorldwide thank you. Seems worth only 2 people, the timeline can be condensed
      And that it's not that useful to include the other 3 people on our team?
      It is this something that could be useful to include the Entire team, not just leadership, given the relatively small nature of the current team?
      I do expect that Every current team member will someday be a leader of their own team.

    • @EOSWorldwide
      @EOSWorldwide  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@NickalusNicoJohnson We would recommend having everyone join your L10 Meetings for now as each team member likely has tasks that overlap with others workloads. Once you've grown to a point where you can begin to develop designated teams and departments, each team should hold their own L10 Meeting and you should be holding a L10 Meeting with your team leaders only.
      Hope this makes sense!

    Hi All! what happens when you cannot solve a problem in the issues list within 60mins (for example it takes a week or so to get an answer to the new solution proposed)... do you then put that back into the TODO LIST or put that back as a rock and remove it from the issues list?? any answers are highly welcomed! thanks

    • @aprilsonksen1785
      @aprilsonksen1785 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a great question. Settle on a to-do that will move you closer to solve. For example, Sally needs to talk to Bill to get information on x,y,z. Also please feel free to visit our new online community at eospulse.com to get all your questions answered. #EOS

    Not long been on the EOS plan and had a few level 10 meetings. Whilst prescribed here, i do feel the timeline doesn't fit all, it should be treated as a foundation to adjust to fit your business, and then stick to it.

    • @EOSWorldwide
      @EOSWorldwide  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      EOS is 100% industry agnostic. Building a strong foundation is essential to the success of any company. EOS helps you build it.

    What happens to the issues that don't get discussed and solved because you've run out of time?

    • @PHLessLethal
      @PHLessLethal 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      if it's an urgent issue the team can decide to extend the meeting or otherwise it can be discuss on the next l10 meeting

    • @crock30able
      @crock30able 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Traction way is to pick the top three issues, if they get covered you can move onto more but it usually doesn't happen if there are real discussions and solutions from everyone at the table. The remaining issues get moved to the next week's meeting.

    • @JohnFulwider
      @JohnFulwider 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Issues that don't get discussed and solved before time runs out stay on the Issues List for next week. Your Level 10 Meeting must end on time, because we don't want it creating issues of its own by blowing up the rest of the day's activities. If you didn't get to an important issue in time, that's a reminder to do a better job next week prioritizing which issues to solve.

    • @Shrimpyyyyyyyy
      @Shrimpyyyyyyyy 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JohnFulwider So the issues just go unsolved? What if the issues are the source of blowing up the rest of the day's activities because they aren't solved?

    • @JohnFulwider
      @JohnFulwider 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Shrimpyyyyyyyy If you have a lengthy Issues List containing urgent matters standing in the way of daily or weekly execution, you may need to call a special Issues solving meeting. The agenda for that would be 1. Segue 2. Build the Issues List 3. IDS 4. Conclude.
      Just be cautious with this approach. The Level 10 Meeting is designed to *save time* by reducing the total time spent in meetings. As you strengthen the Six Key Components of your company using the EOS tools, your Issues List should come to consist more of "fire prevention" items than the "fire fighting"-type items you seem to be referencing in your question. And thus the need for special issue solving meetings like the one I described should lessen, or even disappear.

  • @lauratim4724
    @lauratim4724 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    What if your boss doesn’t follow this format but the company wants us to do it? What if your boss dismisses and diminishes issues you see or solutions you present?

    • @EOSWorldwide
      @EOSWorldwide  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question. It sounds like you might need to have a tough conversation and schedule a Same-Page meeting: www.eosworldwide.com/blog/same-page-meeting-video
      This is a tough situation and you might need the support of a facilitator or one of our EOS Implementers (www.eosworldwide.com/match) to act as an impartial party to ensure both sides are able to air the dirty laundry and get everything out into the open.
      Ultimately, EOS only works if everyone in the company is on board and that starts with your Visionary and your Integrator (if you're not sure what those are, check out our Rocket Fuel resources: www.rocketfueluniversity.com).
      We will say, it's not going to be easy, but if you can work through it, it's going to do wonders for your ability to move forward as a cohesive team which will help propel the company forward as a whole.

    Is that, effective to use L10 meeting if we just work by myself, don't have a team. (Like working progress report). Sorry my English 🙏🏻 it's not properly. Thanks

    • @EOSWorldwide
      @EOSWorldwide  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mas! Our Level 10 Meetings are set up to help leadership teams identify issues and work on to-dos. The goal is to have 90% of the to-dos completed each week. You can always hold your own Level 10 and use the weekly Level 10 Meeting agenda to help keep yourself on track. We have some great resources through our EOS blog, www.eosworldwide.com/blog, for running an effective Level 10 Meeting. Thank you!

    Great content on a sound structure. One critique: far too many hand motions. It was majorly distracting. Hand motions should be like speech; used concisely and only communicating what is necessary.

    This is interesting but very exaggerated. 10 would be perfect, do they actually think that's going to happen? Meetings are often too long, lacking focus, involve too many people, or fail to produce decisions that wouldn't have been reached without the meeting. For example why share the good news and reporting in the meeting rather than via an email? No justification for this provided.

    Two much talks and waste of time 90 Mins ( 1.5 Hr ) in 8.0 Hrs maybe be good for banks / Insurance but not for manufacturing & operational work

      Thanks for sharing your experience! We find that implementing one 90-minute meeting can effectively rid a company of most other weekly meetings, thus improving your company's efficiency. We have some great case studies from manufacturing industries who found the Level 10™ meeting to be a great game-changer:
