Crickey you are an old bloke as I am 78 in a week, so will never catch up to you. I am still giving back to others by donating plasma usually every second week and also do very active volunteer work every week. I also like my fishing but not shooting as I have personally known too many people who misused firearms that caused major issues.

Thanks for the video & the good demo on it's use as a rain cover & gear hammock. These little things also make great chairs at camp or on the trail during a day hike when you need to rest or stop for lunch. Toss it in a daypack & you don't even notice it. Smaller & faster to set up than a full size hammock but still holds your weight for sitting & reclining. Cheers.
I used a small kids hammock to hang over my and my hammock to store my gear living on river boats in the Amazon that way I still had my gear in the morning ( thieves ). so I got this one as its lighter/ Smaller pack size / and Countless uses. Its a amazing price of kit! This old Explorer gives it 2 thumbs up! Good video thank you.

Both of those applications make this a great product. But my favorite use is to set it up as a recliner. It's light, fits easily in a day pack or even a fanny pack and after a minute or two of set up you have a comfortable place to relax. It's great for a break on a day hike or simply another option at a camp site. Mine represents about 16 of the best dollars I've ever spent on outdoor gear.
I am surprised that I could not find any other review of this gear. I found it while looking for a decent gear hammock in brownish color (cannot find any in Europe beside 1 producer). I really like the fact that it can be also used as waterproof cover for the backpack - will try to keep in instead of my original cover = no additional stuff to have on me.
My first thought was a place not to only put your gear, but it could also hold a rifle when your out hunting, but could it be strung up either inside your hammock an off to the side, or some other way, to keep your rifle dry an protected overnight, just a thought. Thx for the vid bro.
Your big winter coat? Turn the sleeves inside out and zip it up around the foot end of your hammock to add an extra layer of insulation to keep your feet warm.

Nice hammock. I use a 'child' hammock for a gear hammock.
