What's better than finding a Whirlpool Catalyst? Finding a Whirlpool Catalyst in mint condition! These are without a doubt the most fully featured and interesting machines out there. Certainly not an easy machine to find let alone one in this condition.
If you have time. I would love to see this with the old style transmission and pump. If I ever get my hands on a Catalyst. You bet I'll be putting the old style pump and transmission in it. Love the sound of the old style pump and transmission.
You will sure love my 1996 ultra Fabricare machine then lol. I was able to find a new old stock pump and stick it in there. I don’t have any more of those right now. This machine was also incredibly difficult to put the cabinet back on.
@@MatthewJames-st5wv I still have my 1989 Kenmore Ultra Fabric Care 80 Series. 110.82980800. I had to replace the drum but the rest is all original, though it does need a clutch at this point.
Hey Matt, a very cool Mashine! Please do a Cycle with Clothes in and activate the Catalyst Function! What means Accu Rinse?! Thanks a lot and many Greedings from Germany!👋🏻👋🏻👍👍😃
Hey, that was something I meant to ask Matt. I don't know if you know or not. I know Kenmore had a mechanical version of this but did Whirlpool also? I think they did but I'm not sure.
They did. But I have never seen a picture of the control panel. I am curious to what this would look like as you know I have my other Kenmore elite that dispensers but no catalyst.

Thanks Andrew. Yeah I got lucky again.
Look at that washer. It's adorable 😊
I love the catalyst washers. And the oasis washers too
Very nice and rare Whirlpool DD washer
Thank you. This is what I’m hearing.

I'd like to see heavy duty cottons cycle and speed.
Arrived with some assembly required?
Rare, what is the model to that thing
Oops, thanks for reminding me. Check the description.
I'm commenting before I see the video Matt, but congratulations once again ! Be blessed my friend!

Hi there. I most definitely will. Accu control is automatic temp control. I'll do a video where I explain this.
Sounds good! Thanks 👍👍👏👏👋🏻👋🏻
Very very nice!
This came out like 1999 to 2000s right
I believe the design came out around 2000. This machine is from 2002.

@@MatthewJames-st5wv I was trying to see if I could find it on the washer forums over there but to no avail
