CARABAO'S BODY AS CANVAS? BINATBATAN FESTIVAL: Karbo Festival

Viva Vigan Binatbatan Festival of the Arts is celebrated during the first week of the month of May. It was started in 1993 by the Save Vigan Ancestral Homes Association, Inc. (SVAHAI) to promote awareness of the value of the historic town, which was hoped to strengthen resolve to preserve and protect this heritage site.
Karbo Festival sub-festival of the mother festival Viva Vigan Festival of the Arts is divided into 3 main events: Carabao Painting and Pasagad Dressing, Boklan Arts and Glass Mosaic Competition. KARBO is derived from Karabaw, that is the Carabao.
