Hi Tee Pot!! yes it took me a minute to figure it out too. I tried multiple brands of permanent glue and still happened.
I'm having better luck with the gorilla glue sticks.
@@DIYDesignByCCW It’s the rhinestones not the glue. You have to use glass stones not the acrylic, plastic ones.
Why not get a lazy Susan turntable to put under your larger projects. This way you can save your back and make your project easier to work with, especially those bigger mirrors. Check your thrift stores they usually have them. I got a heavier duty one off Amazon.
Hi Dee!! That's a great idea. I do have a lazy Susan style mirror with the gems around the edges. I just didn't display it in this video. But you have given me an idea. I'd to see if I can make a larger, maybe even a two tiered version that rotates.

They are beautiful. I also wanted to say to keep the gems/rhinestones from losing it's color and shine try adding just a lil dab of the permanent glue with a q-tip (remove the cotton tip with scissors) or a skewer to add the permanent glue to the corners of the square shape gems and for the round ones just a small dab on the edges by spacing it out to 2- 3 dabs of glue, instead of adding the glue in the middle, it may seem difficult and timing, but it works. I have noticed that using the permanent glue on rhinestones,/gems with entirely coverage or just a drop in the center will cause the gems/rhinestones to have the foil look.

Hi, Candy! All your stuff is gorgeous! I wanted to ask about the glue; have you tried Gorilla clear glue with gems? It seems to have the least effect on them in my experience. I'm always reluctant to use hot glue on a anything (we don't interact well together, LOL!).
Hi Leala!! Thank you so much for watching and for asking a question. Yes I do use the Gorilla clear glue too sometimes just not for the gems. For me they still seem to discolor a bit with it.. I do use the Gorilla hot glue however for the gems.
