The street vendors of our country deserve much more respect and love than ever. Look at this man, he says he is here daily from 11 am to 8pm without taking any holiday and giving such a wonderful snack at just Rs.20. I am sure if such a snack was to be served by some foreign food chain, they would have given it some exotic name and priced it much higher like 499 or 599.

@@potatodroid2 because body requires carbs too. It’s necessary to maintain body heat especially in winters. It’s definitely healthy. And talking about cheese, processed cheese is not good that is used in junk food. Cottage cheese is good source of protein.

It is very commonly made this way and sold in all areas of Etah, Mainpuri , Kasganj, Badaun districts....and not only potato, sweet potato is also cooked this way and served with chutney and masala. A very delicious food. Most peanut sellers make one turn of potato, then on of sweet potato and one of peanuts as per demand.

Not anything to do with video posted. In this case I really appreciate the effort that has gotten in and the way those potatoes are served. But do note potatoes are high in starch..
This reminded me of lightfire (shekoti in Marathi) we used to do at night in winter. In that lightfire we used to put some potatoes.That potatoes were the best I ever had!

Wonder if people know this back in Early 90s cakes werent so common affordable. My mother used to use sad to bake cake since we didn't have ovens 😅 i can say for sure that those cakes tasted absolutely epic! They have amazing flavour
