I always felt like Jinyoung was more like the dad of the group and Jaebeom was the mom. Jaebeom had to change himself a lot to lead them well and the members have all acknowledged it. Also he credited Jinyoung for holding the fort during his absences and even when he decided to take it a bit easy during late years and let Jinyoung take the lead for a bit because it was too much pressure on him and he wanted to focus on making the best music for the group. Besides Jinyoung I think Mark has been Jaebeom's biggest support, he's very quiet but his love for Jaebeom is so evident, despite being oldest. You'll see when you get to know them more. Also ATK have been his biggest support during foreign tours because they're good with English and know how to hype a crowd. Really all six members have been his biggest strength. You should see how Youngjae defends him sometimes if he sees anything against Jaebeom on sns. You ahve to read their messages to him for his 27th birthday this year on 6th Jan. These messages are more special because it was their last time being in the same company. Youngjae recently learned how to do fantalk on twt (they all used mostly insta except Bam and Jackson) and someone posted a funny message to him with a gif of Mark and Youngjae answered with "I miss Mark hyung" . Even last year when the sevens were answering questions about each other, Youngjae said "I don't know the answer but I really miss Mark hyung a lot." If you get to know Youngjae, you'll know he's the most blunt and straightforward member despite his sunshiny persona so he never jokes about these things. Also you have to watch them interact they're the cutest when they sit together. My most favorite moments are when Mark asks Youngjae to speak his infamous "engrish" and Youngjae does it without shame with Mark helping him along. Mark is technically everyone's favorite hyung. He has sleepovers with Yugyeom even now whenever he's in korea and they take care of each other's pets, he's really close to Yugyeom's brother too and Yugyeom and Mark have this nickname called Tuan Brothers because Yugyeom stayed with Mark's family in LA when the group was on a break and some members were busy with their solo activities. Mark and Jackson bonded a lot because Jackson studied in an international school in Hong Kong and spoke English very well, which was a huge relief to Mark. Mark is Taiwanese and Jackson is a Hong Kong native so it's really something else whenever they go off in mandarin randomly, as if they're having a secret conversation, though they don't do it often out of respect for the other boys (also did you know Jayb is know as the son- in- law of Vietnam because he sang a Vietnamese song with such perfect enunciation that the locals adopted him, also coincidentally where the AAA 2019 awards were held where they won their first ever daesang). Anyway, Mark and Bam's ship is huge as in HUGE in Thailand because they had a unit schedule there and their friendship really came out with how well Bambam took care of Mark (he's the prince of Thailand so ofcourse he did😂). Then Markjin, Sandee you have no idea how many fans they had. Markjin was the IT friendship back around 2016 because they were very close. Even now you'll see Mark and Jinyoung have a very special bond seperate from everyone, you'll mostly always see Jinyoung either either draped all over Mark or Yugyeom during fantalks, Mark helped Jinyoung with English and Jinyoung helped him with Korean back when they were trainees, they would hang out in a playground by themselves and speak in their broken english/Korean to try and communicate with each other. It was even more special because the language barrier was very hard for Mark and Jinyoung was very sensitive because of some of his friends being cut from the trainee program. Then there's Mark and Jaebeom. Did you know, Jaebeom credited Mark as "my bestfriend" along with his other friends when JJP's bounce album was released? They had a very iconic fight which involved Yoo Youngjae from B. A. P who's one of Jaebeom's closest friends and YoungK from Day6 translating for them but later Jaebeom apologized when he realized it was a misunderstanding and they both cried and immediately became best friends. Now it's a funny story they share all the time and there are so many memes of YoungK trying to translate for them both while they were fighting 😂. Ever since then Jaebeom has credited Mark for being his silent strength and support even though he rarely calls him hyung. They're hardly 3 months apart so they're practically the same age despite being born in 1993 and 1994. That's why Jackson always teases Jaebeom about having to call him Jaebeom hyung when they're only 1 and a half months apart. Meanwhile Jinyoung is almost 8 months younger than Jaebeom so he doesn't complain but does call him Jaebeommah at times when he's being cute.😂 Anyway, they all call Mark as Mark, though the maknae line usually call him hyung, but he's never been very strict about it, and they've said time and again how he's the most generous and thoughtful member of them all. Ahh, I wrote a whole essay but yes Mark is Youngjae's favorite hyung 😭

You can hear Youngjae end the call with "love you" and it's so normal for them that mark immediately responded with love you too. They are such a hot adorable mess. Ok so relatability time. Sooo I cooked in the Army(92G) for 4years and I went to Le Cordon Bleu for baking & pastry. All my jobs up to 5yrs ago were all line cook and pastry chef jobs. Line cook work became we will say stressful (LONG hours) and I lost my passion to cook. Now I only bake occasionally and I probably will never go back to the food industry. That's awesome you have a patisserie/pastry background as well. Baking can be therapeutic ☺.
I fell into the pastry chef role-- I didn't have any schooling or formal training. I learned as I went, lol. The cooking industry was SO MUCH fun in my early 20s. Just a bunch of degenerate kids cooking and running a fine dining restaurant. But agger leaving, knew I'd never return. The long hours and the crap you go thru just isn't worth it long term. But very cool to meet a fellow former like cook!
