I don't think it's possible to touch the Cameron, Lucy and Drew version. I can't even think of three actresses working now that would be bad ass enough to touch them.
@@DominickSpano yea I would say it was 6ish movie but there were badass and epic moment like the barracuda scene and whip scene. This new Charlie’s angels movie seems so flat. Doesn’t even seem to get the transitions right.
Remember that Robert Pattinson did the same thing for twilight, and Jacob elordi to kissing booth, before you start judging a woman because she was not "grateful" enough.
You nailed it on the head Graeme, they seemed to want to check all the boxes of “making a statement” but it just ended up being polarizing. Nothing wrong with making a statement you just don’t have to make 30 of them which a lot of movies seem to do nowadays.
Nothing wrong hating your own work. We all hate our work sometimes. . we love you in twilight movie and the messenger horror movies.. Kristen Stewart.. 💙💜💚💓💛🧡🤘☯️
Aliens, Terminator, Charlie's Angels (not this one), Sailor Moon, Wonder Woman, Kill Bill... we ALL love strong women, but don't TELL us you're strong with over the top messages. SHOW us. Ripley is the ultimate example. She is terrified of the aliens. Suffers from PTSD. Watched her friends get killed and almost died herself. Even though she is terrified, she rises up because she has to. Vulnerable, shaking, scared, but she does what she has to do without giving some speech. Same with Sarah Conner. Ironically, both characters written by men. Same with members of the X-Men. Storm and Jean Grey are among the most powerful characters, but they never had to tell us they are elite. They just are and it's so fun to watch. Wonder Woman in the Zack Snyder's Justice League is a complete fighting machine! When she fights my jaw drops! Just... wow!
You can have messages in your movie but 1) the story comes first and 2) you have to be subtle and trsut your audience will get those messages without you having to hold their hand lol
I won't sugar coat it, that movie absolutely stunk! It was a massive bomb and man it really stunk! I sort of thing it is okay to admit something like that when a movie is so critically panned and awhile removed from release. This came out in 2019. To say it so many years later we all sort of give it a pass and laugh it off.
I understand that even Kristin Stewart has an opinion & truly I respect her for that. I watched the movie and I enjoyed. Received a DVD copy of this movie in the mail. ❤❤❤❤❤.
I would really like to about what she hated about working on that movie, 2019 Charlie's Angels. Also, if any of the cast hate or dislike the movie too.
See Taraji... This is what you're supposed to do when promoting a film. Then you wait a few years & shit talk about how much you hated working on it. Now, who's gonna work with you or Daniel Brooks? Y'all are not worth the headache... Hell, if Henry Cavill can't get work because he is "difficult" then good luck with y'all. They're not Tom Cruise even his flops make a few hundred & has pull.
I always have mixed feelings when actors lament how terrible a film is or in this case, how much they hated making it. On one hand, they are being given these big budget opportunities that literally HUNDREDS of other actors would kill for; it’s suggested that Stewart made somewhere between $5 and $7 million for this film which is more money than the average person will make in their lifetime. But on the other hand, most of us have had jobs at point or another that we appreciated being hired for but ultimately hated…perhaps it’s just much more annoying when you know how much money these individuals make for a project and then they complain about it…
Honestly, I don’t blame Kristin…. That movie did kind of suck. Charlie’s Angels in 2000 was amazing. Cameron, Lucy and Drew were perfect. It was one of my favorite movies when I was 10. They were strong, sexy bad ass women and it was hilarious!!! No offense Elizabeth but that was absolutely nothing…
What's the actual problem with what she said? Because she praised the movie on the press tour?! Actors are obliged to do press for their films. What is she supposed to say on Good Morning America? 'I hate the film, don't watch it, it's awful'. We all hate our work sometimes but need to make a living. Moving on...
I don't think actors should talk badly about movies they chose to be in. Because that's someone's favorite movie. But a lot of people hate their jobs. But the difference is, they don't get paid millions of dollars in the 30 years they work that job. You do a movie for 6 months, get paid millions of dollars, and never have to do it ever again.
I don't think it's possible to touch the Cameron, Lucy and Drew version. I can't even think of three actresses working now that would be bad ass enough to touch them.
Come on their old movie weren't high art either, but they were fun and funny and entertaining.
@@DominickSpano They weren't meant to be high art. They were popcorn flicks.
@@kennethjohnson2917 I know. And they were fun. I liked Drew most. She is still so hot. Lol.
@@DominickSpano yea I would say it was 6ish movie but there were badass and epic moment like the barracuda scene and whip scene. This new Charlie’s angels movie seems so flat. Doesn’t even seem to get the transitions right.
I love that she admitted how much she loved the other Charlie’s Angels.

Couldn't have said it better Myself ❤👍❤️
Both things can be true, she can love Elizabeth and hate working on the movie.
Cool to see someone actually admit to not liking a movie they were in.
Actors always have to wait a few years before they can make those type of statements to avoid hurting the film financially.

She was so good in it!
My thoughts too
Hi Graeme. I'm just here for a Handsome Check. Yep. Still Handsome! 💖

In the words of In Living Color’s Men on Films: “Hated it!”

Im currently watching it. It has been about 3 days and im not finished
🤣😂😂😂

the movie tried way to hard
It did.
If Sony was smart they wouldn’t have touched that franchise I mean did they forget it had a tv reboot in 2011
Fair enough we hate all of her movies....
"We" don't. She's been in good movies. American Ultra, Adventureland, Seberg, Clouds of Sils Maria...
Twilight and now Charlie angels.. not much luck with film roles.
I didn't care for the movie either. As Kristen said, I love Drew, Lucy, and Cameron.
She always hated the movie after doing it . A little tip DON'T DO THE MOVIE SISTER !!! . FIRST twilight now this . Why
CA reboot is morbidly sordid.
The best Charlie's Angels was the original one with Farrah Fawcett in it.

Actors have the right to hate any movie or tv show they were in. If you can't take that, then grow up
@@cranburrey thanks for completely distorting my words, and spinning them to fit your narrative.
It was just too feminine based. Like if they took out half of the feminism lines then it would have been great. Take out the intro it was decent.
I loved this movie and the humour.
I loved that movie. It's a hoot. A good throw away action comedy fest.
She acts the same in every F movie... So, its not the movie, its her!!!! Just saying!!!
