Brother I don’t know what your anxious about lol cause this video was a masterpiece to say the least. The narration, the editing, the music, everything was 100% on point my friend! Keep it up this video was amazing!
Would you be open to a “ making of “ series? Where you either walk through how you make these videos or just record the editing process and allow us to watch it?
The video is very well done and the fact that you're open and transparent about mistakes you may have made in the information provided is a welcome change from so many other content creators on youtube. I like this format for sure! It's more in depth, and the time spent with the editing are absolutely recognizable and appreciated. Good video Syn.
Hearthfire was always an unsung hero. For pc this was small potatoes because home mods were a dime a dozen prior. For consoles though it was pretty unique due to the lack of mod capabilities there. The added mechanics were definitely nice for modders though. Even the dreaded Creation Club gave more for modders to play with. File versions that don’t count towards the 255 limit? Yes please.
I could not agree more with the fist sentence of this comment. Hearthfire was under - appreciated at its release, and I don't think people realize how much of an impact it has played in giving more tools to authors to create even better modifications using its assets. :)
Bethesda: *makes trophy rooms in the DLC* Modders: "Hold my skooma" If you can make a 16 min video on this, it means Bethesda better hire this person lol Very nicely done btw!
Some of these creations are so good, that these authors end up being developers themselves indeed. Just take a look at the lad that created Forgotten City. :)
The falskaar dev was hired by bungee but he created falskaar with the intention of getting hired, the LotD crew has many people that all have jobs though I think
@@SynMods Studio Wildcard has hired several Ark modders over the year. Most notably the guy who created "The Center" mod map now works as a level designer for them...also his mod mapis official dlc now.
@@RedPayne well bethesda have a lot more things to worry about when making stuff. They have a schedule, they have to make sure what they've made is polished (excluding the engine apparently) they have to make sure stuff is market ready. Stuff like LoTD has taken years to make, its on like v5.5 or something which has taken them ages so it does make sense.
I feel Elder Scrolls V can no longer be seen as the property of Bethesda. Modders who have put so much time, blood, sweat, and tears into this game are the real developers in my opinion. They’ve literally been keeping this game alive and well for years now. That’s why whenever I can I support modders by donating money. I know all of this is on their free time and have zero funding! If anyone in this comment section is a Skyrim modder, please know I appreciate you and all of your hard work so much! Even if your mods are ones I haven’t played myself thank you, for helping making this game immortalized!
Man Bethesda developers also make it with their love it's if people wouldn't fall in love with Skyrim there will be no mods people make mods to show their love to the game and improve it make it better . But saying that original developers make no effort it's not true. How the developer of Skyrim would feel knowing that someone don't acknowledge their work they also work their 4 to 5 years on it .
The original developers are the reason we have Skyrim yes. But I feel Bethesda has just fallen a lot. They’ve had 10 years to bring something as potentially great as Skyrim to the table. I feel Modders deserve more attention because like the devs they could’ve moved on, and yet these amazing people continue to pour their time and knowledge and resources into passion projects that we get to experience and enjoy! Yes Bethesda is the one to get credit for the game existing in the first place. But I feel like it’s a good analogy to a stepdad vs a bio dad. The biological dad may have been the one to help conceive the child but you don’t give him credit for that child’s upbringing when it was the stepdad who put his time and heart into raising that child. Modders are the stepdad in this position, we have such an amazing and mod rich game because of these people! I hope the analogy made sense lol
@@risinggamer7423 Same these people keep adding so much to keep this game going! Ordinator is a great example. How it expands so much on the perks and makes the game so much more interesting!
Beautifully done as always. It felt very different compared to the other videos because it is wholly dedicated to a single mod. Even so, you pulled it off like an absolute sir with the presentation. The museum needs an interactive Nazeem statue which the visitors can stab in the throat for just a few septim.
i always considered Legacy of the Dragonborn's story to be the main plot :P And all that Alduin shenanigans is just another separate questline like the Companion's or the Dark Brotherhood.
Even as I play I now...I feel this way. It's like going to work. And at the end of the 'week' I dump all my crap and set displays. This MAKES you play differently.
Feels like I'm watching a commersial or a sales pitch. Large storage space, fast acceleration combined with fuel economy, comfortable seats for the whole family, this car will change the way you look at transportation.
Exactly this. I clicked expecting a video which will help me figure out should I install this monster of a mod for my new playthrough or not, thinking it would explain what this mod actually does and adds and how it all works in practice, and instead got this undisclosed ad pitch. Sad
Legacy of the Dragonborn is my all-time favorite mod. I had to uninstall it for a while because it literally takes over my playthrough. "Let's see, I'll be a mage this time time, living at the College of Winterhold, and...OOP...I'm living at the Museum and collecting stuff again." Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it is SO immersive. The storyline is well-written, and the amount of artifacts to be found appeases my not-so-inner hoarder. It may be time to fire it up again!
By far, Skyrim TH-camrs create the best-edited videos of all TH-cam as far as I can tell. I already got the mod, and know it, as well as many others that have been showcased by you and HeavyBurns, but your edits are incredible. I could rewatch the videos as if they were a carefully crafted movie. kudos
I clicked on this video expecting some barely coherent dude rambling about the mod over random background gameplay, like most mod reviews. To say I was blown away is an understatement! The editing, the cinematography, the music, the narration. By the Eight!
I love how you covered the developments in Hearthfire and player home mods that led to LOD. The deep-dive in a way that highlights everything about it beautifully without ever getting bogged down or dry is something that’s hard to find but you nailed. Love your channel, and you easily deserve 50k, it’s just a matter of time.

A mod that would allow the dragonborn to send his/hers followers to live in one of your houses would be a great adition to the world .Then your houses wouldn’t be empty and you could easily change your travel companion. This would really make a big difference especially for those who play without fast travel option. Great video thank you ! Got additions to my mod list !
There are multiple mods that allow that. The one that immediately comes to mind is “My home is your home” but I’m sure most follower mods cover that already.

I've never played this mod because it's a bit too fantasy for me as well as being the perfectionist that i am i don't want to spend god knows how many hours collecting each and every artifact in the game. I hope to see more in depth reviews from you in the future. Good work.

This absolutely a mod I've recommended countless times to people who I know are looking for new ways to do skyrim and otherwise wouldn't of picked it up before. The people behind it and the community around it are fantastic people and they deserve every bit of attention they get. This is just a really good video presenting Legacy and I think its done very well. So subbed. I'd love to see more content like it.
I have never been more sold on something while watching a video. Your editing style and narration makes the videos standout among even the biggest creators on this platform. I hope you continue to grow and step outside your comfort zone to produce some of the best videos I have seen on TH-cam in awhile. Keep up the great work!
I just started modding a year ago. I am just setting up mods for a new playthrough. I have researched a lot on best mods and have never heard of this. This mod sounds like exactly what is needed. I have always felt bad about selling all kinds of cool items because they had inferior characteristics to what I was using so I didn't need them and didn't have a place to store them. I can't wait to try this mod. I hope it works in VR. Unbelievable that this is out there yet nobody talks about it! Thank you very much.
So I downloaded a mod list and this was on it I had no idea what it does so I looked it up, what a great video good job, glad I had this in my save the whole time lol
SYN Gaming you are not just a hardy modder, but an awesome videographer. These shots and the way they help you tell the story about the mod is truly beautiful...
LOTD is an amazing mod i've never used in my little 1900h playtroughs. I installed it once and calles it LOTCTDs because it crashed every time i tried to play. So after this absolut stunning and wonderful crafted video i will give it another try, becaus i just start a new playthrough. Maybe after installing 100 of compatibility patches i will be able to play it this time without CTDs all the time. So thank you so much for this video. Amazing work.
That editing was fantastic, man, this video may be the what actually gets me to put this in my load order after always hearing about before. I would love to see your current load order in a future video.
Fun fact. If you have food in your inventory and at the safe house click to deposit resources, it will not only store your food, but also display it in the kitchen and on the dining table next to the kitchen. Turning even your kitchen into a museum of sorts. Thanks for the video, the editing in it was great.

Excellent job sir. That was most entertaining.👍
i was originally gonna pass on this mod (when i finally start modding, soon). but your video has made me reconsider
Never seen a video by you before, but the editing and story telling was off-the charts, subscribed
This video was amazing thank you for your hard work looking forward to see other videos like this take your time don't worry you got this
Very good editing 👌
Thank you :)
It blows my mind that you don’t already have 50k subs your videos are always top quality
Why did I get Goosebumps while watching this... What an experience.
I recommend finding and using Deanos backpack! What do you mean bias? xD. Excellent review, on behalf of the team, thank you :)
Thank you! :)
So I downloaded a mod list and this was on it I had no idea what it does so I looked it up, what a great video good job, glad I had this in my save the whole time lol
As a novice sci fi creator to put forward your universe and have people not just want to enter put make it their own is the ultimate goal!
your editing is astonishing, and your scripting as well as voice are very good to listen to!! keep up the good work duder
SYN Gaming you are not just a hardy modder, but an awesome videographer. These shots and the way they help you tell the story about the mod is truly beautiful...
Thank you for this comment, I appreciate it :)
Awesome video man, I love this mod myself and have barely scratched the surface with it
Thank you, yes, the mod is quite expansive in its features.
You did wonderful on the video. I liked it so much it inspired me to get LOTD for my new loads. Thanks.
Legacy of the Dragonborn is the main reason why I still play Skyrim. I love displaying my accomplishments and collecting items in any game.
Indeed :)
Wonderful video. No doubt this is the #1 mod. Hopefully someday it will be ported over to the xbox console.
Thank you for this great Video. It makes me to play Skyrim again :)
I keep finding great mod lists then I find channels like this that have almost everything I love about bout skyrim
Am I the only one who has gotten seriously addicted to fetching artifacts for Auryen?
Nice édit, Nice transition, Nice mod
Also Nice enb and lightning mod 🤣
Yeah, whoever made it did an excellent job :>
Amazing video, excellent tribute to one of my favorite mods created!
That editing was fantastic, man, this video may be the what actually gets me to put this in my load order after always hearing about before. I would love to see your current load order in a future video.
Thanks, if you decide go try it out, have fun, it's a great mod. :)
This was made very well, you’re going to get big very soon if you keep this up, and I subscribed.
Thank you and welcome aboard. :)
This is a great video, I'm going to have to play Skyrim again thanks to your video.
Just wanna comment to say this was very good video and you should be proud
When you talked about the gold room, I immediately thought Fable 3 gold rooms.
really good video definitely can't wait to check out the mod fully. without this video I would have never even known about the mod
Thanks and have fun with LotD! :)
Fun fact. If you have food in your inventory and at the safe house click to deposit resources, it will not only store your food, but also display it in the kitchen and on the dining table next to the kitchen. Turning even your kitchen into a museum of sorts.
Thanks for the video, the editing in it was great.
Cool vid - thanks for sharing.
On my first playthough so I'm gobbling up these videos, honestly this is the best one I've seen and there are some great videos and mods out there gonna try this one, thank you for the heads up.
Brilliantly done! 👏👏👏 I will definitely be checking out this mod. I really appreciate your hard work and it came out beautifully. Bravo!!!
This video made me download it and I'm so thankful for it. Made me play skyrim in a whole new light
