Export the MatLab, Azure, Chat GPT, Revit, Plant 3D, Civil 3D, Inventor, ENGI file of the Building or Refinery to Excel, prepare Budget 1 and export it to COBRA. Prepare Budget 2 and export it to Microsoft Project. Solve the problems of Overallocated Resources, Planning Problems, prepare the Budget 3 with which the construction of the Building or the Refinery is going to be quoted.

It's shocking that people in their hometown don't know
    george boole.
    Lincoln England is unknown,
    forgotten poople,
But now that documentaries have been made,
    You'll find out
    influence.

In point of fact C S Peirce & Allen Marquand first demonstrated that Boolean logic could be performed with electrical switches in 1885--52 years before Claude Shannon

So we could had digital devices very early in the last decade of the 19th century. Imagine if that woek where read by Edison.. maybe the first internet attempt..

@@alfonsobustamante6937 Not without the transistor and circuit boards. Vacuum tubes weren't even being used yet. You'd need millions of switches to do the simplest function.

The extent C.S Peirce was ahead of his time & relatively unknown he is(even for a Intellectual) given his achivements is bewildering. The more I hear of the man the more astounded I am.

I think Boole may have been ill for some time before he died. I have read some of his personal letters, he writes to a friend in Lincoln complaining that he has lingering flu like symptoms and feels it most down one side of his face. His sister and wife had been ill with flu too and that they had benefited by taking turkish baths. He writes he is going to try the turkish bath treatment in hope of a cure.

I discovered a boolean Algebra manual while in grade10. I was fascinated by the Maths. I went on to study Computer Science.

I teach advanced level computer science in the UK. Thanks for this- I like to add a few stories and historical anecdotes to my lessons to add a bit of interest. I will summarise this documentary by saying "for 80 years the response from the mathematical community to Boolean logic was a big fat MEH!" :-/

This documentary wastes too much time saying how much of a genius and how important Boole is, and not enough time talking about what his ideas actually are. I'm noticing this is a trend among science documentaries. I guess they think we are too dumb to get it.

I don’t think you have grasped the concept that Mr. Boole was a genius, and that he is very important. You should rewatch.

Do we really invent anything or do we just discover it? That is, it was always there. We just stumbled on to it. Just my thoughts.

Getting wet doesn't cause pneumonia, an infection from bacteria or a virus does. A cold or flu that gets worse can turn into pneumonia. You can breathe in small droplets of water in the air that contain bacteria and later develop pneumonia, however the video tries to imply he caught pneumonia because he stayed in his wet clothes all day, and his wife put him in wet blankets. By that time, he already had the bacteria or virus.

    • @jamesdecross1035
      @jamesdecross1035 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

Nonsense. You don’t catch pneumonia unless it is a particularly virulent strain. We all carry the infection in our throat without succumbing. A trigger, like wet clothes, would cause you to loose immunity and fall I’ll.
