Asus tuf a17 Ryzen 7 4800H with 4gb 3050 graphics or msi alpha?
Am an architect and mostly will be using only 3d modelling software and renders. The tuf a17 is 65k and this is around 75k currently. Should I push for 10k and get this one?
Both the laptops will do fine. It's up to you how much money you want to spend. Alpha 15 has latest specs compared to A17. I would recommend that you go with the latest gen specs becuase they last a little bit longer in the future as well.

i brought this device and while upgrading the RAM I accidentally touch my metal tool to the motherboard and a small Spark happen there and now my laptop is not starting 😔🥺😢 I took it to service centre and they told they told they will they told they will check if the laptop was opened and if there is any physical damaged then the warranty will be avoided 😕. The spark was very small though🤢,no sign of burn on board though.
I am sorry to hear that bro but motherboards are extremely sensetive to static electricity shocks, even a small spark can fry the motherboard circuits. There are necessary steps that are needed the be followed while working with motherboard upgrades. You'll have to spend some money on this, and don't try to do it yourself now, it might cause more damage.

Alpha 15 will be better at gaming and GF66 will be really fast in productivity apps. I would buy the GF66 becuase I don't play many games but I do run a lot of productivity apps and office tasks.

Yes you can upgrade to 16GB. This is good enough for basic 3d animation.

@@minimumspec Have you seen the rtx 4050 and rtx 4060 laptops? The 4050 is basically the same price as the 3060 and same performance. Not to mention, you'll be getting the lower wattage crappy variants with crap battery life. And the rtx 4060 will never drop to 70k. Its selling for well above 100k.

It's hard to extract a constant 60fps at high to ultra settings with an RTX 3050. Unless you're willing to lower a few settings in the game. Anyways RX6600M is way better than RTX 3050 so if there's a chance of you getting a better frame rate, it's with RX6600M, therefore you should go with MSI alpha.

No Problem at all! You can buy the 8GB varient and ask the servie centre guys to upgrade the ram afterwards because if you do it yourself then the warranty might be void, so just let them do the upgrade

@@minimumspec Yeah, nah. The crappy 45w rtx 4050 laptops are going for 90k, right now, on sales. Otherwise, they all almost hit 100k. Even assuming, you get a 60w rtx 4050 for 70k after 1 year of waiting + sales, it will be barely faster than the rx6600m, if at all.

The gpu is locked there is no option for overclocking in the bios and morepowertool does not work either atleast for me

Statistically the MSI Alpha is better than the hp pavillion in every aspect. You'll have a good experience with that.

@@ANSH_024 I don't believe that, if it dies within the warranty period you'll get a fair replacement. I've never heard any AMD laptop dying earlier than an Intel + Nvidia combo. Don't stress it, What matters that you get what you need and can afford.
