I have to say, Vekoma must get the award for most improved manufacturer.. They really have come such a long way, where as B&M (for example) haven't improved as such in any way at all for over 20 years. In fact they have regressed in some ways. Vekoma seems to be doing wonderful hyper coasters, multi inverts and now flyers.. I'd honestly seek them first to build my signature coasters if I was opening a new park. Well and RMC of course. Perfect complement to one another.
Its not just the us, even the other parks in germany still lack a bunch of theming, phantasialand is kind of an exception (exception beeing an understatement)
I just can’t believe how much of a ride they were able to fit in this small of an area. It is truly remarkable how Phantasialand was able to create this layout and the clearances are ridiculous. Also, there’s a HOTEL around this coaster. How awesome. Phantasialand is certainly on my bucket list.
Overall it's insane how well Phantasialand manages their small space. They have four roller coasters with over 1km of track length and 4 others on top of that, while also having a sizable collection of other attractions and 3 massive hotels.
I definitely agree with you on all of the points. It's a great forceful ride with some neat airtime. That dispatch from the station though. Most underrated part. When I first rode F.L.Y, i was speechless and blown away. After my 2nd ride, I knew this was my new #1 coaster. It knocked Expedition freaking Geforce off my Top 1 spot, that's how good FLY. is.
100% agree on the dispatch being amazing. I couldn’t resist the urge to salute the whole time… until the seats turn around… then I became a screaming mess (in the most positive way imaginable) I was riding last row on my first „flight“ without knowing it would be the most intense seats of the ride. And I’m usually afraid if coasters… well… not anymore… 😁
Finally a detailed review of this coaster!! I am now living only two hour's drive from Phantasialand and I can't wait to ride FLY. Phantasialand is my favorite park ever, and It just got a whole lot better!
Yo i rode it a few months back right at the opening of the summer season. Its a fantastic ride and the whole scenery engulfs you and lets you forget about anything thats happening around you. Oh btw if you visit Rookburgh and get hungry in the meantime i really recommend going to the little food stand right on the side of the entrance to F.L.Y called "Kohleschipper" they make fantastic fresh right infront of your eyes Sandwiches that easily top most of the Park food and are miles ahead of any Subway sandwich and are imo really affordable considering the quiality of the sandwich itself (mentioned for comparison).
This to me is the perfect roller coaster. You feel like your flying around tight corners with fantastic precision, its smooth as silk, its not over in the blink of an eye, It covers all angles, and it feels like a fast-paced puzzle.
Great review - got over soon after F.L.Y.'s opening last year & it is just phenomenal. Tip: don't lean forwards when the vests are getting locked in place - i ended up with a very loose fit during the ride!

Absolutely agree with you. First thing, this coaster and the surrounding area just looks incredible when you enter the area. And the ride experience was even better than I anticipated. I never rode a flyer before, and this was almost like riding a roller coaster for the first time again :D The inversions felt so unreal in the flying position, as well as the airtime moments. Only got to ride it front row though, would love a back row ride next time after wathcing your review.
Waited to watch this review after I actually rode it. I'm glad you liked this coaster I also fell in love with this coaster. I got to ride it 3 times 2 times in the front row and 1 time in the second last row and I personally prefer the front simply because it felt more like you're actually flying and the hill after the second launch which is my favorite element in probably all of Germany and also my favorite floater airtime moment I have experienced so far.

Excellent footage and descriptions. I felt like I was there with you. I have probably been more interested in this ride than any other in Europe. And after your description, I anticipate that if I were to ride it today, it would be in my top 15. The pacing, forces, setting, & near-misses are right up my alley. I was able to go to Phantasialand last weekend and i wrote FLY two times. I agree with everything you say. FLY would be an amazing 10/10 coaster just for the plain track. However the absolutely stunning theming and implementation into the park just knock this experience out of the park. 10/10 plus Bonsupoints, a complete homerun, phantastic and unique experience.
I finnaly had the chance to ride this today and i must say the experience was amazing , i was able to ride this in the front and the back , and boy if u sit in the back this thing is crazy almost feels like ur gonna fall out of your seat because every turn feels so sharp haha amazing coaster , and i had a lucky day with just 15/20 min of waiting time for the whole day. Best coaster i have been on so far on par with konda in belgium but those are 2 different experiences.
if you visit mid october the ride is a walk on in the afternood/evening, after 4pm there was no wait and the ride ops let you jump to the next train instead of going through the queue line, security and lockers again. Managed to do 8 rides. Although thought the airtime was the most notable in the front
I love the boost you get at the end of the first launch. And the airtime insane for a flying coaster. I really didn't expect the airtime to be that good.
I can see a flyer from Vekoma working at Cedar Point. It seems it's pretty good on capacity. Loading process looks simplified. Another unique coaster like Maverick would be cool.
fly is really butter smooth, and i’m such a fan of the locker system, it’s such a step up from the otherwise often messy situation with stowing bags before boarding rides while i personally think taron is more fun in general, fly is incredibly unique and so worth it. Phantasialand is incredibly ambitious with its rides and it has really paid off
@@CanobieCoaster It truly does. I recently went with two friends who unfortunately aren’t as into rollercoasters as i am, but we still managed to find a great balance. I’m glad it’s one of the closest to where I live. Movie Park Germany is fun too, but the ride variety very much pales in comparison (unless you’re a star trek fan, then movie park is worth it if just for the queue on that one coaster lmao)
Fantastic coaster. And great video reminding me of when I rode it last week. The theming is the best I've ever seen. I love Steampunk so it was a fantastic experience 😍👌
I rode fly just a couple of weeks ago. It is truly fantastic. One of its kind. I stayed at the hotel for the full experience and it really felt like an adventure. It is so so impressive... I rode it multiple times, the queue was never longer than 15 to 20 minutes. The best experience is the last seat. Hands down. But the front row offers stunning visuals. So you should try all, if possible... I really love F.L.Y. but I also love Taron. Both are unique. For me Taron is more aggressive, while fly is sensationally smooth... gorgeous 🧡🤎🧡🤎🧡🤎
im glad u reviewed it since the park wont allow any POV's which is annoying, but i thought that this coaster looked slow and forceless so i was surprised to hear how intense this ride rly is, definitely looks like a ride is like a lot, and this was definitely one of ur best reviews btw
F.L.Y is very intense with positive Gs, of all the coasters that i have ridden (all in Europe) i Think only Lech Coaster beats it and to some extend Fenix rivals it
I love the look of this ride. And I absolutely love this park. Next to Europa, it is hands down my second favorite park in Europe. It was still being built when I was there last, but it was testing. And the very little that you could see was amazing. I can't wait to get back to Phantasialand. Great ride review. Looking to being back here next year if the apocalypse ever ends.
I personally didn't find it as forceful as Taron (but I couldn't chose the seat and was in the middle), but the theming is definitely stunning. Since I'm french I will have the opportunity to go to phantasialand again and I hope I will be able to ride it in the back to see the difference
My buddie and I may have had some luck. But at the end of the day, we took the line for 1st row. The normal cue was just a bit further than the splitting point at the stairs down. The wait was just as long as we would have waited in the normal cue. Front row on F.L.Y. is something special😄 Not the most intense per se. But the experience was 10 out of 10.
I thought I would never see the day when I say Verkomas future is looking very bright 🌞 with this coaster. None the less, their newer rides are looking amazing as well! Verkoma is becoming like the Phoenix of manufacturers. Can't wait until we start seeing these new rides in the US.
I’ve been on F.L.Y. Myself. It’s my number one coaster I’ve ever ridden, but I’ve only ridden coasters in europe. And there is only one coaster that can Possibly beat this is velocicoaster, I’m just the biggest sucker for theming. So I don’t now how this model is turning out in lesser themed parks. Cuz this coaster really feels like on big element. If it had six flags theming it definitely wouldn’t be my number one coaster, lil sidenote. Imagin phantasialand building an rmc ibox, that would be awesom. Excellent theming and an excellent ride, it would be an 11/10
I absolutely agree! For me only Kärnan is better in germany. This ride is absolutely magical, it looks so tame from the outside but once you ride it in the front or back you really feel the intensity. The long ride combined with the epic theming, station and dark ride part makes this a one-of-a-kind experience that everyone should visit! While this is a much different ride compared to Taron I think they are equally great rides for me. The fact that something like Black Mamba could now be considered a supporting coaster in Phantasialand just speaks for itself I think.
I rode this coaster 3 times with my kids, everything about it is just insanely good! I try to catch this one early on the day, when the line is usually 30 minutes or less 😎😁
I am making plans to visit Phantasialand and I can’t find anywhere if there are weight or size limits for these coasters (similar to HPW in Orlando). Could you tell me if you know of any? Thanks for the awesome reviews!
I finally got to BGW and now the only two coasters I'm missing there are tempesto and Alpengeist because It was a hot day and I didn't feel like getting on Alpengeist or tempesto because I was unsure how I would feel after riding those. Apollo's is still my number one in the park and I rode it 5 times. Griffon is a close second and I was surprised at the fact that it wasn't very intense even with a 200 foot vertical drop. I found verbolten to be the most intense out of the coasters I rode because I greyed out on both of my rides and for that reason I can't really call it a family coaster. I rode Apollo's in a bunch of different rows including front and back and I think it was because of the 100 degree weather but there was a ton of airtime even in the front row and I couldn't really feel a major difference in airtime in the back. Sadly I couldn't do a night ride because the park closed early but I loved the rides I got. Invadr was just how I expected and I really enjoyed it. And loch Ness was better than I thought it would be but I feel like most of the time you are on it isn't really spent doing much but it is very scenic and I did love riding it.
The queue lines for first row are now open. We have ridden it 3 weeks ago. But the waiting time is considerably longer than for the other rows. And they close this line quite early. Hopped on it 1 hour before park closing and they closed the first row queue right behind us. However it is absolutely worth it to wait longer for first row. You get a different coloured wrist band for the first row so the operators know where to put you on the station.
The original way Batwing was setup was for the trains to recline on the lift hill, and it did that for a while. The trains would also come back up in the brakes. Unfortunately, that was causing a lot of issues, so that’s why it operates the way it does now.
We did it a fortnite a go ( got 9 rides) and it tells your story ! One Masterpiece ..just like the Extreme spinners ! All are the new standard in Rollercoasters !
I honestly think this would be a good fit for a Disney park. It’s not super duper intense and it’s a Top 25 rollercoaster. Something similar to this should be built at a Disney park and it could have even better theming than this one and I’m thinking it would have several good airtime moments and a few inversions with great hangtime. Would you like to see something similar to this at a Disney Park? Do you think this would be a good fit for a Disney theme park?
I went on this yesterday, and maybe it just wasn't running very well but it didn't do a huge amount for me - it felt a bit slow, and the flying position wasn't hugely comfortable. Smooth, though, to give it its due. Taron was a much more thrilling ride for me.
@@CanobieCoaster It probably doesn't help that I'm a fair bit fatter than last time I rode a flying coaster (thanks lockdown!). Given that everyone else seems to rave about it, maybe I just got a bad ride for some reason.
@@CanobieCoaster No, sadly not. And someone told me they likely wont offer them again :( But hey Moviepark and Toverland are as close to me and they have cheap passes and good coasters :D
I rode it about a month after opening and because of the theming and near misses everywhere it is my nr1 in the park. Taron has better forces but you cant beat the theming and few flying air time moments.
@@CanobieCoaster im just speaking from what i experienced. Maybe i got a bad ride on F.L.Y. or a good one on Taron. Or im wrong, its just the way i experienced things on the day i visited.
My reply isnt to try and be defensive or anything, rather to say that people can have different opinions. I havent ridden F.L.Y. in the back yet. Perhaps that will change my opinnion on its forces. But it still is my n1 in the park because of the theming etc, also its my first flyer ive ridden so to me the feeling of that position blew me out of the water.
Did the coaster multiple times (come from Germany) and all is amazing: the coaster, the theming, soundtrack. Just a Masterpiece. Was there last weekend as Well and Sure long waiting times. But of course everyone wants to do it. I would Not agree it is the best coaster in Germany. As coaster Taron and Kärnan are still much better. However Rookburgh as themed area with All the Hotel experience is for probably one of the best in the world
I hope Disney or universal installs one of these vekoma flyers. Given how well phantasialand themed this one, I am drooling to think how this would look in a Disney park.
Hey Canobie Coasters! Can I use some of this footage for a video review I'll be doing of FLY? I'll be sure to credit you. I only got one day at Phantasialand so I couldn't get enough footage of FLY
Although it is smoother in terms of loading, I think it would be somewhat unfair to tarnish all B&M flying coasters as having issues; Galactica for example regularly achieves 1,300 riders per hour - as does Flying Dinosaur - both in spite of the flying position issue, although dual station operation of course helps. Fly actually doesn't get quite such a high throughput as this, probably due to 2 across seating instead of 4.
It’s kinda weird having this as someone not have the typical top 5 (Taron, Black Mamba, Karnan, Geforce, and Colossos) as their favourite coaster in Germany but hey, I’m okay with it. I think the top 5 coasters in Germany are 1. Karnan 2. Expedition Geforce 3. Taron 4. Black Mamba 5. FLY
Top notch review! Made me really jealous because I’ve got a few years to go minimum before the kids are old enough for a trip to Europe. And even then, it’s gonna be hard to convince my wife to pick Germany over several other countries just because I wanna go on some rides 🥴
Well keep in mind that you can drive from here near the park to Alicante in the very south of Spain within single day of only driving, while this is rather uncommon for europeans to do unless we are planning a full holiday there, i have heard that this is rather normal/ not considered a long trip for US-Americans. So if you stay anywhere from Spain to Italy you will need a day's drive at most to get here ;) (or in case of Paris or Benelux a couple of hours, we are rather close to Germany's western border, though this region is breathtakingly beautiful and has some of the oldest cities and highest density of castles in the world (especially the rhine and moselle valley (neighbouring region) towns feel like you are in a Grimm fairytale/ disney movie with picturesc medieval fachwerk (those white houses with timberframes) houses and great hiking/ biking along the wine valleysides
I do abselutely love this ride as an overall expeience. But sadly, I don't enjoy the sensation of a flying coaster as much as many People do howecer i do teally lile the airtime and the incersions. I also still rank it extremely high due to the abselutely indcredible theming!
I knew Phantasialand would open a flying coaster, then i read it was created by vekoma and all my excitement was torn apart... But now you say that vekoma built a rollercoaster that has NO HINT OF A RATTLE?! The world is changing...
They actually filmed a POV but they have not released that yet. There was however an unofficial POV circling around a few months ago, here's a re-upload: th-cam.com/video/oZf-OSVK4Lg/w-d-xo.html
@@CanobieCoaster they might keep it a little too long. Let's just say I "can't afford" to travel to Germany (I am mostly landlocked, even Canada is expensive for donestic travel)
It seems possible this is an actual good flying coaster. No awful "lie" position not even a loop. Airtime yes yes. Scenic. Still may be unnecessarily intense but a step in the right direction.
It definitely to me does not look like the best in Germany but easily top 10 and maybe top 5. First off, it's a flying coaster by Vekoma, I mean, uhhh, a GOOD flying coaster by Vekoma. It has so many near misses, it's a long ride, and it even has a launch, on a FLYING coaster. Also th at theming. Who would of ever known that putting disney level theming on a flying coaster would change the experience this much. If this coaster was out in a grass field with no theming, would it really be the same?
No it would not be the same without the theming, but the ride itself is still strong as it is. It really looks much more tame from the outside and you are pretty shocked after your first ride.
Admittedly the ride does look slow off-ride in a few places, but it doesn't feel slow on-ride and is way more forceful than I expected in the back row. Combine that with world-class theming and you have a powerhouse.
I have to say, Vekoma must get the award for most improved manufacturer.. while i personally think taron is more fun in general, fly is incredibly unique and so worth it. Phantasialand is incredibly ambitious with its rides and it has really paid off
It does so much well.
Thanks!
The visuals were great in all rows, so I couldn't deprive myself of the added force.
im glad u reviewed it since the park wont allow any POV's which is annoying, but i thought that this coaster looked slow and forceless so i was surprised to hear how intense this ride rly is, definitely looks like a ride is like a lot, and this was definitely one of ur best reviews btw
Thanks! I imagine the park will release an official one at some point.
@@CanobieCoaster i rly hope they do, if they block ppl from making povs they should at least do that
@@MillenniumForceMan There was an unofficial POV circling around a few months ago, here's a re-upload:
th-cam.com/video/oZf-OSVK4Lg/w-d-xo.html
F.L.Y is very intense with positive Gs, of all the coasters that i have ridden (all in Europe) i Think only Lech Coaster beats it and to some extend Fenix rivals it
I love the look of this ride. And I absolutely love this park. Next to Europa, it is hands down my second favorite park in Europe. It was still being built when I was there last, but it was testing. And the very little that you could see was amazing. I can't wait to get back to Phantasialand. Great ride review. Looking to being back here next year if the apocalypse ever ends.
Thanks, it's amazing.
2:42 There was footage up on TH-cam of the station a few days ago but it was quickly taken down… Spoilt it for myself.
Seems to disappear quickly whenever it goes up.
Definetely one of the greatest theme parks out there
I agree.
I personally didn't find it as forceful as Taron (but I couldn't chose the seat and was in the middle), but the theming is definitely stunning. Since I'm french I will have the opportunity to go to phantasialand again and I hope I will be able to ride it in the back to see the difference
The back was significantly more forceful than the front. I never got a middle ride.
Lucky!
I thought I would never see the day when I say Verkomas future is looking very bright 🌞 with this coaster. None the less, their newer rides are looking amazing as well! Verkoma is becoming like the Phoenix of manufacturers. Can't wait until we start seeing these new rides in the US.
I agree.
Excellent theming and an excellent ride, it would be an 11/10
It truly is a masterpiece. You'd definitely like Velocicoaster then.
I am soo hyped for it man!! (I know i´m a bit late for it but i´m going next week) oh gosh i cannot wait, it looks insane!!
Enjoy!
@@CanobieCoaster thank you!
I agree the ride is wilder than it looks.
I rode this coaster 3 times with my kids, everything about it is just insanely good! I try to catch this one early on the day, when the line is usually 30 minutes or less 😎😁
Nice!
I am making plans to visit Phantasialand and I can’t find anywhere if there are weight or size limits for these coasters (similar to HPW in Orlando). Could you tell me if you know of any? Thanks for the awesome reviews!
A lot of Intamin's have a max height of 6'4". Not sure if Taron does too. I haven't seen many people denied rides for being too large here.
I love that park.
Hi! Stayed away from this in January, skeptical about feeling good on my neck and the claustrophobic effect because of the flying position. Thoughts?
The restraints hug your body, but it's very smooth.
@@CanobieCoaster nice, do you feel any pressure on the neck?
Let me just say, this ride is confusing 🤣 stellar review!
Thanks!
Was just about to ask for a review and then this notification came through
Good timing!
I agree. FLY is a great fun coaster. But I didn't get a chance to ride it in the front row. yet.
I got lucky on my first ride.
Thanks for the info. That would be nice to come up on the brakes if it stacks, but they usually run one train now.
@@CanobieCoaster It was awesome with two stations, but of course that required more employees.
We did it a fortnite a go ( got 9 rides) and it tells your story ! One Masterpiece ..just like the Extreme spinners ! All are the new standard in Rollercoasters !
Both models are great.
I feel like Universal is a better fit given their thrill levels.
I went on this yesterday, and maybe it just wasn't running very well but it didn't do a huge amount for me - it felt a bit slow, and the flying position wasn't hugely comfortable. Smooth, though, to give it its due. Taron was a much more thrilling ride for me.
I like the flying position, but I know it's not for everyone.
@@CanobieCoaster It probably doesn't help that I'm a fair bit fatter than last time I rode a flying coaster (thanks lockdown!). Given that everyone else seems to rave about it, maybe I just got a bad ride for some reason.
I am so ungodly thankful that Phantasialand is my Homepark
Lucky! Although do they still not offer season passes?
@@CanobieCoaster No, sadly not. And someone told me they likely wont offer them again :(
But hey Moviepark and Toverland are as close to me and they have cheap passes and good coasters :D
Fun fact when I was on fly the 2 launch didn’t work so we were for 20 min on the coaster after that my back hurts a lot but we got a fast pass
Oh wow!
There needs to be a on ride POV of this bad boy already!
Phantasialand is strict about no loose articles and they haven't released an official one yet. Hopefully they do soon!
@@CanobieCoaster 😡

This coaster runs very cool it seems
It's great.
I really want to ride this coaster so badly lol, It looks absolutely amazing!
It is.
I was in Phantasialand and Tripsdrill lately, and before that trip i literally hated Vekoma coasters.
Now i am a Fan of Vekoma xD
I love Vekoma's newer coasters.
@@CanobieCoaster yea, the new gen Vekoma's are glassy smooth and have also nice layouts, thinking especially of F.L.Y. and Hals über Kopf xD
I know the back seat is excellent, but is the front seat any good? How much less is the front, and is it better than Fønix or Formula?
Front is excellent for the visuals. Forces aren't as extreme.
The ride looks great, but how is the station itself? Is it as good as you'd expect from Phantasialand?
Yes, it's very well themed.
WOW! FLY possibly over Expedition Ge Force? I was going to ask if you preferred it to Flying Dinosaur but I think I already know that answer.
FLY was that good.
I rode it about a month after opening and because of the theming and near misses everywhere it is my nr1 in the park. Taron has better forces but you cant beat the theming and few flying air time moments.
I think this is actually more forceful than Taron to be honest.
Best themed dispatch ever.
Best ride ever.
The dispatch is cool. And I love the ride.
However Rookburgh as themed area with All the Hotel experience is for probably one of the best in the world
I definitely prefer this to Taron. This is up there with Karnan and GeForce for Germany's best.
is skip the line available or i it just for hotel guests? becausse on their website they say its not availble for purchase
Just Charles Lindbergh guests once per day for FLY. Their regular skip the line pass is temporarily suspended due to covid.
I hope Disney or universal installs one of these vekoma flyers. Given how well phantasialand themed this one, I am drooling to think how this would look in a Disney park.
This ride system is amazing theming or no theming.
Given Disney's relationship with Vekoma, I can see this actually being an option.
Hey Canobie Coasters! Can I use some of this footage for a video review I'll be doing of FLY? I'll be sure to credit you. I only got one day at Phantasialand so I couldn't get enough footage of FLY
Sure, I have an "off-ride" video that's copyright free.
The ones in the US have glacial dispatches. I agree Flying Dinosaur has fast dispatches, but it has a massive crew.
What's flying if you're not weightless (e.g. airtime) glad to hear it is as awesome as it sounds.
It is.
It’s kinda weird having this as someone not have the typical top 5 (Taron, Black Mamba, Karnan, Geforce, and Colossos) as their favourite coaster in Germany but hey, I’m okay with it. I think the top 5 coasters in Germany are
1. Karnan
2. Expedition Geforce
3. Taron
4. Black Mamba
5. FLY
This is up there with Karnan and Expedition GeForce.
I would not put Black Mamba even in the top 10 coasters of Europe
I got the back row but that black thing over you shoulders was very loose so I was focusing more on holding on than the ride😂
I like the restraints myself.
I could definitely see one of these in America
I hope!
With no theming.
How do you think you would rate the ride without the theming?
Still a 9/9.5. It's very forceful in the back.
I wasn’t really paying attention but is the hotel real or is just scenery
It's real. I stayed there.
@@CanobieCoaster Very cool
Top notch review! Made me really jealous because I’ve got a few years to go minimum before the kids are old enough for a trip to Europe. And even then, it’s gonna be hard to convince my wife to pick Germany over several other countries just because I wanna go on some rides 🥴
Maybe one day!
There is a lot more to see in Germany that your wife might like 😉. Think about castles and cathedrals 😉.
Cedar fair needs to work with vekoma!
I'd love to see it.
I do abselutely love this ride as an overall expeience. But sadly, I don't enjoy the sensation of a flying coaster as much as many People do howecer i do teally lile the airtime and the incersions. I also still rank it extremely high due to the abselutely indcredible theming!
I can see the flying position not being everyone's cup of tea.
I need to see a vekoma flying coaster have a pretzel loop then i might like them more than the B&M flying coaster
I do love a pretzel loop
I knew Phantasialand would open a flying coaster, then i read it was created by vekoma and all my excitement was torn apart... But now you say that vekoma built a rollercoaster that has NO HINT OF A RATTLE?! The world is changing...
This ride is insane.
Fly looks amazing as do taron and black mamba at the same park
I love this park.
I have a good feeling that a differently-themed clone of this would go in perfectly at one of the parks at Walt Disney World. Just what they need.
By the way, if this were hypothetically cloned at WDW, would it be the most intense coaster at the resort?
I'd love to see one.
I gotta make sure I have my athletic strap with me tomorrow.
I always wear it on coasters.
The track length is 4,055.1 feet.
I've seen multiple figures.
Is it better than flying dinosaur, or even starry sky ripper.
I haven't ridden Starry Sky Ripper, but I'd take this over Flying Dinosaur.
@@CanobieCoaster thats an accomplishment. I nedda get to Phantasia
The train seems too long? How often does it valley?
To my knowledge, not often.
If only Vekoma remade their Flying Dutchman’s with the new track it doesn’t have to use the laying down position it would probably look strange though
I want more parks to buy coasters like this.
Couldn't phantasialand at least do a first person pov themselves? I mean, they did it for Taron
I think they want to keep the ride secret a bit longer.
They actually filmed a POV but they have not released that yet.

@@CanobieCoaster they might keep it a little too long. Let's just say I "can't afford" to travel to Germany (I am mostly landlocked, even Canada is expensive for donestic travel)
I need to go back to phantasialand!
It's amazing.
I rode it for the first time this week and it's so funny how slow it looks from the outside but when you're on it this machine whips you
I agree.
Same with Taron. It looks so slow from outside
This one attraction makes everything we have in the UK look like Santa's Grotto. Merlin Entertainment, take notes!
Nemesis does pretty well.
It seems possible this is an actual good flying coaster. No awful "lie" position not even a loop. Airtime yes yes. Scenic. Still may be unnecessarily intense but a step in the right direction.
I love it.
"It definitely does not look like the best in Germany."
Have you ridden it?
Videos don't judge how good this coaster is.
Admittedly the ride does look slow off-ride in a few places, but it doesn't feel slow on-ride and is way more forceful than I expected in the back row. Combine that with world-class theming and you have a powerhouse.
