Kya kahu sir aapke vishay me. Aur kya tarif karu aapki. Kyoki mere najar me aap superior sonologist and radiologist hai. Jitni tarif karu utna kam hai.
Why does the notch of the probe have to face the nipple when scanning the lateral aspect of the right breast? Wouldn’t that then make the probe motion backwards in correlation to how you’re viewing it on the screen? We are taught at the probe notch should either be facing the patient or us otherwise the probe is backwards
This is done only for radial scanning of the breast. The probe notch typically faces the nipple in radial scanning. The nipple will always be seen at the left side of the image whether it is the right breast or the left. But this technique may not be used everywhere and can vary amongst different imaging centers. The main aim is to obtain the best possible image.
